Check-In Procedure & DepositPlease be informed that the Resort does not accept third party credit card payments. You will be required to kindly present a photo identification and the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in or making payment at the hotel. In the event that you do not have the credit card used to make the booking, you will be required to make full payment on the credit card that you have in your possession. Charges on the previous credit card will be refunded within 14 working days.Japamala Resort requires a deposit of RM 500 for per room per night on check-in, remainder amount shall be returned upon departure. Deposits can be paid by cash or any major credit cards. Debit cards and travellers cheques are NOT accepted.
Due to the monsoon season, ferry services may be cancelled by the Marine Department. Please contact the property for more details.
Effective from 1 February 2022, guests are required to pay RM3 per room per night for Cukai Kelestarian (Sustainability Tax) by the Pahang State Government. This is not included in the room rate and will be paid directly at the hotel upon checkout.

Smoking PolicySmoking* is strictly prohibited in all rooms. Guests are permitted to smoke on the balconies and in the outdoor living spaces of their rooms. Guests are requested to exercise caution whilst smoking due to the danger and risk of fire. Should a Guest smoke inside their room, they will forfeit their deposit and subject to a cleaning fee equivalent to one night’s room charge at the prevailing rate. Please be kind enough to respect this agreement.*Smoking includes tobacco cigarettes, electronic cigarettes (vape), cigars, pipe tobaccos, cigarette leaves (rokok daun), bamboo pipes and waterpipe smokes (bong, hookah/shisha and mu’assal).
The East Coast Rainy Season in Malaysia is between November and February, when frequent rains are punctuated by intermittent sunshine. Nevertheless, Japamala Boat Service will still be available during this period, unless until situation does not permit. Due to choppy sea conditions, Japamala Resort's will not be held liable should both Japamala boat and Public ferry not be able to transfer any of our guests. Please be advise that if any stays during the Malaysian monsoon season are cancelled or unused due to disruption of the ferry services or other transport services, no refunds will be made for the bookings of rooms.
The minimum age of guests to stay is 16 years if unaccompanied by an adult.
