I initially intended to stay only one night. However, I ended up having to stay 5 nights due to the ferry being cancelled for 2 and incurring some computer issues. The staff were more than accommodating with my uncertainty of departure. Rooms were clean, quiet, with good light and pleasant updated decor. You can tell that the owner cares about his property. The enjoyment in my accommodations certainly helped to lessen my disappointment in the delays. I didn't use the internet much since my computer was down, so can't speak for its signal strength. (Thanks Sergio for referring me to a capable technician to get me back up and running!)

Really Nice Boutique Hotel for the Price

This is a great hotel,rooms are small but great value for money.Beds really comfortable,bathroom spotless.The location is brilliant and there is a  pay car park almost opposite.Only 2 mins and you are in the old town, fabulous restaurants and you are very near the ferry port.Highly recommended,its not the Ritz but its cheap and very comfortable and wecwill stsy here again

A little getaway to Tarifa

Hospedaje Villanueva is a wonderful place to stay n Tarifa. Perfectly situated in the centre of the town near everything you may need, even the ferry port. The rooms are small and cosy, clean and quite comfortable. The service is just outstanding!!! Very kind and polite people at reception. Highly recommended at a budget price! 

Lovely and cosy!!

We had a room with a sea view from our little balcony, which was awesome! Other than it was a basic room but nice and clean, great value for money. 
No toilets downstairs though so once checked out and leaving our bags at the lobby, they advised us a nearby bar to go to the bathroom. A little weird..

On arrival you're not sure because of the appearance and the fact that it's hidden away a bit.
But we needn't have worried, it's a little gem.
The staff are all really friendly and attentive and obviously very diligent because the place is absolutely spotless.
Fresh towels daily, room freshened up daily and there's no worry about breakfast being provided because there's a great little cafe next door which is cheap for Tarifa.
The big bonus for us as well was its proximity to the old town which is just steps away with the beach "what a beach!" being a 10 minute walk.
We love Tarifa anyway but this hotel made it another memorable visit.
We'll definitely stop again.

Superb!

When I booked this hotel, I didn't even realize it was a hostal. So when we arrived (husband and 2 small kids!), I got super nervous that it was one. But! It definitely surprised me! The beds are super comfortable. They provided us with a baby bassinet. The shower is awesome!!! The room is small, but enough room for us! And, best of all, it's in an awesome location! I'm glad I "accidentally" booked this place :) It certainly exceeded all of my expectations!
