Villa Chayofa Sunrises

We stayed in Chalet #1 for a week at the end of February and although we were a bit unlucky with the amount of sunshine, we had a wonderful holiday, not least because of our very relaxing stay at the Chayofa Country Club. From the first to the last minute, everyone we met on site was friendly and helpful and had big smiles to greet us, despite the unusual heavy rain at times. We are often humbled on holiday at how widely and well English is spoken abroad, and Chayofa was a great example, which was very reassuring, especially as we had booked right at the last minute when our planned accommodation fell through a day before we travelled. The living space was very generous and light and airy and we particularly liked our balcony view over the tennis courts and out to the sea in the distance. We had a hire car, which I think helped with this location, which is a short way up into the hills above Los Cristianos. There was plenty of parking, even though with all the visitors to the tennis academy, it was a daily game of find the spare spaces! We travelled all over the Island, with El Medano, Costa Adeje, Los Gigantes, El Tiede National Park and San Juan being some of our favourites. I also have to mention the on site restaurant, El Corazon, which was great, both in terms of food quality and value. The staff were extra friendly too!! They offer a 3 course meal for 15 Euros every night and I was impressed with the variety and range of dishes on offer. I would definitely recommend this place for couples with a car and will likely book again if I return to the island.
