We were eating in the Restaurant and we were very disappointed. When we entered we promised them very happy, because the dining room is elegant, spacious and with a good separation between tables, but the treatment of the staff was unprofessional, rather distant and indifferent. Two of us went to the menu of the day and another person wanted to ask for the card and which is our surprise when they tell us that there is no card, only the menu. Incredible a restaurant without a card. As it was late, we ordered three menus. The waiter leaves the bottles of water, wine and gas on the table, unopened, we saw blacks to open the wine. The food is nothing from another world. As is easy to guess, we do not repeat.

He has a lot to improve.

A good restaurant to eat the menu of the day, perhaps the best in La Bañeza for a wide menu fast food service and generally good food, the Tuesdays are well cooked, softer than the maragatos, you can also order rice with good quality.

Los martes cocido is the cooking.

The menu is excellent, the service is friendly and quick and the recipe is unbeatable.Examples: seafood-filled peppers, solomillo al queso de cabrales y mus de kiwui, con pan, vino y gaseosa ¡¡ 10 euros!!. Very well prepared and deliciously flavored, but... The wine is decent; it's not up to par; it's a bottled wine for the home, of those that will improve its flavor mixed with gaseosa.A meal with a bad wine leaves bad taste, a mediocre meal with a good wine tastes better.It's advisable no artifacts and go for a safe: a glass of beer.

Excellent menu of the day, but...

Very poor Wi-Fi; tiny shower and no support for gels/sponges; absent reception (employees are pluralized at the bar/rte); bad breakfast (margarine instead of butter, jam instead of jam, chopped instead of jam, no espresso coffee...).It's uncomfortable with mules that you're clavan del colchon.

I was disappointed.

We were having dinner on Sunday, August 12th, it was a family meal.The truth is that there were a lot of people, but the attention was quick and very correct.Everything was very rich, except for the salpicon that we ordered that had the crab legs super dry.except that it was fantastic as always.very recommended.

Family food

The hotel is quite large and is located in the old N VI, just halfway from León, Astorga and Puebla de Sanabria.The hotel facilities are very new and there is a parking space nearby (Calle García Lorca).Most rooms have a living room with kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.In our case, there was an 'error' and we were put in an apartment instead of a room having paid for this second.Once informed, if it is true that we will be changed immediately.The hotel reception is always empty and you have to go to the hotel's own cafeteria to be served.We feel that in many cases the staff is scarce and overcrowded.This hotel receives buses from retirees and many come to the hotel.In the hotel's Wifi, there was a notice, that there are no details, except that the hotel does not have the right facilities, but that the room does not have the right facilities.

A good hotel but several peros.

I've been a couple of times and very well, 40€ the individual room and breakfast included if you go by company, the only defect is that to be an apartment it has a sink, a two-baked glass and a small fridge, but it has no covers, plates or cazos or any kind of toiletries.

 Spacious apartments

This is a very recommendable place to stay in the area.  This is not the typical Hotel Room. this place offers a little apartment at prices even below than many other local hotels. My evaluation is considering the value for price.  Do not expect a 5star hotel service and room, but this is a good place to stay conformable, warm and well communicated in the area.
