Apartment in Tenerife

We were lucky enough to get a south facing apartment with sea and mountain views. We had a 7th floor apartment, the higher the better. Some apartments have dedicated parking, if you don't get one, don't bother hiring a car as street parking is nearly impossible. There is a bus stop opposite the apartments with frequent busses to busier parts of the island. Within easy walking distance there are several bars and cafes/restaurants and a reasonable supermarket is next door. The pool area is very nice with plenty sun beds. Hard rock hotel is directly opposite and has pretty noisy entertainment several nights. At the present time there is some noisy building work going on nearby. Lovely promenade goes for a considerable distance with sea views all the way. A sheltered and sandy beach is within 500 yards.
