The people visiting this hostel should not be very well acquainted as the owners treat the client with mistrust because they have often gone unpaid, which creates a situation of unpleasant treatment with the client and poor manners. On the other hand, I had problems with him in hot weather, after 3 minutes of being in the shower. I was charged for a double room of 80€, which seems to me a barbarity for the quality of the room.

An expensive and unpleasant option.

After two summers, I'm staying again in the Ducal hostel, the cushions, but the hostel is nothing, my surprise? More expensive than the previous time, I'm sure there are hotels in the area much better at the same price, this time I was charged 50€ per night a single person, without any kind of service and for a disagreeable colmo en del typical Valencian owner if you can get the blood better, I ask for the bill and they contest that tomorrow I'll go if you don't give me the money, call the police, these are some lists, don't clean the rooms or change the towels, don't take a ranch, it was almost empty, no road, they were busy.

I am a masochist.

Clean, air con in every room (!), really comfy beds, nice new bright decor, 10 minutes walk to beach, really nice staff (I don't know the blond lady's name at the reception but she was very kind and helpful!) and owner (Andés) 5 minutes to train which takes you to Valencia straight away in an hour and easy connection to airport from there. The beach is fantastic there's a lovely coffee shop on the corner with very kind staff. Huge supermarket only a few minutes away. Yes, this is a hostel so you won't have any garden, balcony or view no kitchen so you only can eat and drink out but everything else is like in a good hotel! I am sure I'll go back. I warmly recommended this place to everyone. It's really shame that my phone died so I can't attach all pictures I had only a few of the corner coffee and the beach

I loved this hostel

The mattresses are many years old, they've been rubbed with some rubber, some 5cm-long viscous coats that also break your back. The sheets and towels don't change anything as desirable, you put the dirty towels back in as if they'd been changed. At night you find some cockroach the size of a galápago. The toilet paper counts on drops. By phone you're treated kindly, but the reality is different once you get to the hostel. You're charged 50% on the reservation and when you get to the room without your room the first thing you're asked to do is pay for the rest of the reservation. It's very early in the morning, the rest of the day disappears, the key to the door is locked.
