When we arrived at the reception, two guys were dealing with an elderly couple from America. Considering that the Americans didn't understand Spanish, and the guys at the reception only spoke Spanish. The registration process was not quick. The same thing happened to us. When I showed the booking, it turned out that there were no room for free. The guys were babbling and offered another hostel, for the same price and free to take us there by taxi.

The Midnight Hostel

This inn has nothing like a inn, don't stop at the... dirty beds dirty showers dirty and rotten the only positive point is the location but I tell you again I shouldn't go to this inn tooooop you can!!!

Classic hostel on average: small rooms, friendly staff, shared bathrooms. Still good location, although at a price that I think is too high. Advisable if you are able to adapt to your short stay in Barcelona.

For those who can adapt

The entrance is in a very sluggish condominium and you have to go up to the first floor without an elevator to reach the entrance! The room is small and had the air conditioner broken, however the sheets were clean and there was a nice balcony! Bad bathrooms without the possibility of closing the door with a key; very sluggish kitchen!

Expensive and unclean

Hostel with the necessary space to spend a few nights, you can use the kitchen and rent towels for a fee. The rooms are quite comfortable with castle beds and cupboards, the sheets and the environment were clean. Bathroom and shower in common clean. The entrance is a bit messy. The staff is not Italian but we understand the same, on arrival you have to pay a deposit of 5€ which will be returned to the departure.

Escape to Barcelona

People hospitable, clean and close to downtown old house beds ikea castle balconies narrow air conditioned room, offers the possibility of cooking showers and bathrooms in common

Economic hostel

With a very reasonable price/quality ratio, I am very satisfied with this hostel. Its location is very good and the staff responsible are warm.

A good enough establishment

The hostel is well located, about 1 km from Catalan Square, in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants. The subway is located a hundred meters away. We spent one night there, with our two children. The toilets were clean, the room was proper. The kitchen was clean too, there was little room for four. The manager is friendly. There is a common room with computer and television. wifi I recommend for those whose luxury is not a priority, and who are looking for contact with the natives and other travelers. The price is quite right: 40 euros for a family of 4.
