Excellent location on the Rambla, friendly staff very available, good and new rooms, dated but not affecting the good living conditions.

Have a nice stay in Barcelona.

The best thing about this place is the location, it is 1 minute from placa de catyluna, so it is in the heart of the city centre. 

It situated on the 2nd floor of a town house, which is currently being renovated. There is no signage outside so you can easily walk past and not know where to go.

There is no reception and so you have to call on arrival to get a staff member to attend and book you in. Other than the bedroom, there is a small lobby area and 2 individual toilets but no other communal amenities. The pictures online show a kitchen area and outside areas with bbqs etc. None of this exists anymore and the large spaces where these things would be are just empty. Not sure if this is because the are being renovated or if the venue has just got rid of these amenities. 

The room was basic which matches the price of the hostel. The shower was excellent and bathroom also recently refurbished. The downfall to the room was that could not lock the doors and shutters to the balcony, so leave stuff here at your own risk. We opted to take valuables out with us. 

Overall if you just want somewhere to lay your head then this is it, but don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed. 

Great location, ok room, no facilities 

Compared to other hostels where I have been, it was a very good, very central location and youth staff which gave a lot of information about places to go.

Good company and position

Okay, all clean, well organized, 24 hours a day, you ring and it opens up, instantly, the hostel manages young people, it's a student field atmosphere, really all you need to find the, what else when you're young, on vacation.

It's the first year I can't find a place one less early.

Lack of cleanliness.... the lights are not there... we only had a flashlight that barely went towards the Light... the only good thing about the location is everything else a horror... I won't repeat... saunas rotas... telerañas in the bedroom...

Psimo is the name of the game.

Request an independent room, a/c and shared bathroom... for the price and the location..inmejorable. Near everything (metro, airport buses, restaurants, bars, mall, etc)... the atmosphere on the first level is somewhat charged.. but I wanted a bedroom, since all day I would be out knowing the city.

Tourist Travel

When traveling with my son for a couple of months in Spain we stayed there with another girl friend. I give this score only because of its excellent location, a few steps from the plaza and the famous Rambla. With a metro station very close by and a bus stop on the plaza that takes you to the airport. You save a lot of money on that.

Al should be...

Rescatable only in its location. Close to Metro Station, Rambla, Plaza Catalunya and Hard Rock Café. As far as the care of its staff and cleaning is concerned, it is more than deficient.

Poor quality

Its a cheap hostel , with perfect location 2 min to plaza catalunya next to the metro station recommended for budget stay. Rooms are acceptable size , Showers were clean. friendly staff , expect that I booked in December and wanted to say there for the holidays they close the hostel without telling ahead I was short noticed and I had to find another hostel to stay in

Perfect location

I had to catch a train early in the morning from Sants, it was Friday night and Barcelona was crowded with tourists...so I booked the only one near the Catalan metro that cost less than 200 euros...except the hostel rooms or out-of-town accommodation there was nothing else. I ran into the saddest hostel I've ever seen, a small room in a prison would have made me happier.
