Hello everyone, :) I was in Barcelona For a weekend Mis amigos y yo, we went without booking a hotel Y by chance we found this hotel In the same center of the ramblas Limpio Bien ubicado Bueno de precio Y in the same center of Barcelona I recommend 100%

This is a great hotel!

The apartments were fine however the price quoted in booking websites is inaccurate, i was scammed over 250 euros extra from my bank account when i got home. I should have known something was wrong when i had to go to a merky ally way with an unhelpful women adding charges when i picked up keys. BE WARNED

Avoid

The staff was so nice and went above and beyond.  The apartment was adorable and modern, very spacious, and extremely clean. The location was absolutely perfect as well.  We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect family apartments in awesome location.

There is a security deposit scam going on!!!!!

When we arrived we had to walk about a mile to collect keys and we were then hit with a cleaning fee and city tax on top of our agreed amount.  When we got to the apartment there were people already staying there and we had walked in on a family having something to eat.

We called the person and the advised they had given us the wrong apartment so rather than offering to bring the replacement keys (as they should have been apologising to the other family), but no they forced myself and my children to walk another mile back to the pickup location we were at first of all.

Trying to put this behind us and enjoying the rest of our holiday we arrived at the new apartment, nervously entering incase it was again already occupied.  

Anyway we were pleasantly surprised when we first opened the door...that was, until the smell of the place hit you like a knockout punch to the nose.

The beds had no bedsheets on them, the bin had not even been emptied and the fridge smelt like it had a wash with milk.

Our woes continued when the shower head in the bathroom fell off mid shower and we were constantly disturbed early hours in the night from noisy party goers.

I had tried calling the person many times during our short stay and to no avail they did not even pick up the phone.

We had thought we had left this bad experience behind us that was until we arrived home and then a couple of days later I had 250 euro removed from my account.

When I asked to what reason I had lost my security deposit I was informed that I had set off "noise alarms" have you ever heard the like.  My children can make a little noise (as all kids do) but not past 8pm.   Complete disgrace.

 I have been fighting to get back my money and have got no where so as a word of advice rather than being disappointed and stolen from just pick somewhere else.

BE WARNED!!!!!

Had to pay for the apartments in a building approximately 25 minutes walk away from where we were actually staying which was difficult to find.I was met by a woman behind the desk who seemed flustered and charged me more than I had originally booked the apartment for. She claimed this was for the cleaning of the apartment which I turned down as I was only staying for a couple of nights. The girl told me that the cleaning fee was included no matter what and so I accepted.

The apartment itself was dated and uncomfortable and there was no attempt by staff to clean the apartment while I stayed there and so I wondered what I had paid for at reception. The money issues continued after I arrived home as I noticed the owners of the apartment had taken a further 200 euros from my account 2 days after I got home. When I emailed questioning the owners about this they responded, claiming it was because I damaged the carpet in the apartment. When I told them this was impossible as my apartment contained wooden floor throughout, they behaved very unprofessionally and told me there was nothing I could do about it.

I have since had to change my bank details as my bank informed me that the owners had attempted to take even more money from my account but luckily they were able to block them. Customers should not be fooled into thinking they are getting a good deal, like I was, as it will prove to be far more expensive than you think.

AVOID

SCAM! AVOID THIS PLACE

Took an extra 200 euro the day after checking out citing damage to the apartment and dirtying the carpets.

This would be acceptable if:
a) the apartment had carpet
b) the apartment had any damage

They wait until you have flown home so you cannot contest the surcharge.  Avoid these crooks like the plague.

As for the place itself - the decor was very bland and the air conditioning was broken.  Horrible smell from the drainage in the bathroom.

The check in desk is also a good 20 minute walk so beware of that if you're still crazy enough to consider staying there.

Con Artists - Avoid like the plague!!

It's a nice apartment, renovated. It's missing a few little things to make the stay more pleasant but if not everything is there. The geography is perfect, it allows you to do a lot of things on foot and if not, the subway is just down the street. An apartment that I recommend without hesitation.

Perfect geographical location

When I arrived at the apartment, there was no one to pick us up, nor was there an announcement that the key delivery offices were somewhere else like a 20-minute walk away, finally when we arrived at the office to receive the keys, we had to wait about 30 minutes in our locker rooms, finally when they kindly waited for us, they told us about these unmentioned charges, which we declined, because we would not be in the app, after about an hour and a half of daily platic transfers with the head of the station and the locker room, they decided to drop the checklist because they had to drop the checklist, but after a few hours they finally left me in the apartment, they could not do anything, so we decided to drop the checklist, and after a few hours we could leave the locker room, but after a few hours, we decided to leave all the items in the apartment, and then we could go back to the apartment.

We have a very poor service and very little information.

The location of the apartment is very nice:central and convenient, but at night it's a little scary to drive up to the apartment in the middle of the narrow alleyway.

Noisy accommodation and an improvement.

Very nice, spacious, very central apartment (two steps from Piazza Catalunya) perfect for trips with family and friends. There are no dishes, blankets or towels missing. The only drawback is that check in and check out must be done in a b&b not very close, but it is still worth it. The girl at the reception was very kind and very available!
