Firstly. This is a hostel stay style room, even in the double bed room. No daily service, breakfast is toast and jam, cooking facilities provides in small kitchen but clean up after yourself. In short, it’s not a serviced hotel. 
Secondly. It’s above and surrounded by restaurants. Restaurants in Korea become drinking spots after dinner and stay open til 4am. There is public noise all night, every night.
This is a perfect budget location for the broad minded traveller and very central to all that Busan has to offer. A short walk from Jalgatchi station.

Central city hostel

Starting with few positive things: Location is great and room was clean enough, although mattress wasn't very good.

However, there was only one shower and toilet for men, which it hasn't got a sink for washing hands or brushing teeth, we had to brush teeth in the kitchen sink. Moreover, toilet wasn't clean enough. 

Staff is very rude, owner eats and throws extra food in the kitchen sink without cleaning it, so it stays there all day long. Owner also sets air conditioning at 18 celsius degrees without asking clients, so it's freezing and clients need to put jackets and jumpers on, he doesn't care at all. Moreover, when we said it was too cold, he said he didn't know how to change temperature. Also, we tried to pay with VISA and they said they didn't know how to use credit card machine. Last but not least, staff sleep and sit down in the client's sofas, so they weren't always available for us.

Location is great, but we're sure there are so many other better hostels around the area with cleaner common areas and more friendly staff. 

Great location, terrible staff

Let me start with the positive comments. It was in an amazing location near the biff square and nampodong underground shopping centre. The bathrooms and kitchen area where clean.

Ok so we were in a family room on the 3rd floor  WORST mattress ever anywhere in the world i have every had. The staff treated the place like it was there house. They were always sitting on the couches, watching tv and cooking food. It felt more like i was in someones house than in a place i had paid for. This made us feel uncomfortable. 

The doors had keypad locks that the staff knew so there was no real security. I witnesses tye male staff member punch in tye security code and enter a room of 4 girls on more tuan one occasion. The main male staff member was friendly but lacked any real customer service skills.

We left after 2 nights of a 5 night stay

If you can afford better i certainly suggest you do.


Hmmm just not ok

My four female friends and I were continuously verbally harassed the Male staff, which created an UNSAFE and UNCOMFORTABLE environment. We checked in and the room was not comfortable either (hard mattresses with crumbs on it). Due to prior unsolicited verbal harassment by the staff, the room did not feel secure or safe as we feared they would come into the rooms at night (they had the door code). Although the location was great, the hostel itself was not as we had to drag five big suitcases up three narrow flights of stairs, just to be welcomed by a very unprofessional receptionist who was sitting on the sofa in a very casual way on his phone. When we walked to our room, we noticed that there was only one bathroom that had to be shared with all the guests on that floor (imagine the queue!). After discussing, my friends and I decided not to stay the three nights as planned as we worried for our safety, so we checked out. We DO NOT RECOMMEND this place for solo or group female travellers in case you experience the same ordeal as us. (This is not the first time, as there are various posts on booking.com about this too, shown by the image attached)

I guess I got the best of the place since it was off season so it had few people, and having breakfast for free is a plus lol.I would go back there again when I visit Korea next year

It's conveniently located (within 5 minutes walk to Jagalchi station, opposite BIFF Square, close to Jagalchi Market), making it easy to visit various places of interest in Busan. The guesthouse was also easy to locate :) The room was alright, just that it smells a little odd. But overall it was a good stay. The staff were amazing and facilities were in great condition!

Hotle facilities are not really good. The shower room and restroom are terrible.

Great location

The hostel has a dirty cat which is not mentioned on the website.Besides, the staff there is unprofessional, and the only one serve me is not familiar with the check in system.The bed and bedcloth looks unclean and wondering they will wash it each time.

The host is keeping an dirty cat in the hostel.

It is very spacious, but the sign of the hostel is very small, I spent like 15 mins finding its location in that area! And also it is located on the 4th floor, it is not recommended if you have luggage!!
