Peter and Sandra were the perfect hosts. Sandra's "haute cuisine" breakfasts will remain a stand out memory. Perfect location and bay view mixed with Swiss hospitality made for a memorable holiday. To be repeated.

Perfect holiday in Plettenberg bay

Sandra and Peter are supreme hosts and make you welcome from the outset. 
The property itself has been designed and fitted out to the highest standards with few expenses spared. The rooms are very well appointed and offer peaceful, comfortable accommodation. Breakfasts when we were there were served indoors as the weather was somewhat changeable and offered a wide choice from the buffet in addition to Sandra's daily surprise. We enjoyed them immensely. It was ice to receive a pot of coffee for breakfast which was the first one we received after almost a month a travel in South Africa.
Peter was extremely helpful in booking a taxi when we had to go to a wine estate out of town where we had lunch booked for us by our daughter. He recommended and ordered a taxi firm that he always uses and has faith in, which put our minds at ease.
We really enjoyed our two days here and would return without hesitation.
There is plenty of free guest parking at the property.

Lovely property, lovely hosts, lovely setting.

We stayed at the Safari Guesthouse on our honeymoon (they even gave us a small gift which was a lovely touch) and I have to say that the house is designed and decorated beautifully. Taking advantage of the gorgeous views of Plett Bay. Breakfasts were the best we had anywhere in SA and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Gorgeous house and views with lovely owners

On the garden route, we decided to stay 2 nights in Plettenberg Bay, to benefit from this beautiful spot. Safari guesthouse was an obvious choice considering its excellent rating
The reality was even beyond our expectations. View is breathtaking, accomodations are modern, large, well equipped, perfectly clean. Decoration is amazing. Service was great: friendly, warm, informative.
To make it short, this is a place where one cannot be disapointed

Great Stay in Plettenberg bay

We had wonderfull time at Safari Guesthouse. Sandra and Peter do everything to make you feel at home and are amazing. The breakfast is delicious and we were looking forward everytime for the special of the day. 

Wonderfull Stay

We had a wonderful and perfect stay in a top guest house with Swiss charme of Sandra&Peter and very nice staff. The breakfast was excellence as well. Peter supported us also for our daily tours with insider proposals. 
If we ever visit SA again we will come back!

Doesn’t get much better

Such a fabulous spot to stay while on a drive along the South African Garden Route.  Sandra and Peter could not have been better hosts as they made us and the other couples staying at their Guesthouse feel so welcome... almost as if we were old friends or family.  In addition to the large room, they serve a great breakfast all overlooking their pool and a hill that leads right down to Plettenberg Bay.  They also handled dinner reservations for us which was great as we did not know much about the area.. and their choices were terrific!  If we ever get a chance to come back this way, we hope they have an empty room for us!

Spectacular views and Wonderful hosts

I very rarely review on trip advisor but when you experience excellence you have to! 

Peter & Sandra were outstanding and hospitable hosts, very happy to talk with you all day and offer our advise. We instantly felt at home. This was the best hospitality we have experienced in South Africa!

We stayed in Botswana room and it was huge. Bigger than any hotel room complimented by Peter’s outstanding photography of the country. Bathroom was massive with an amazing shower. The room opens up onto the pool with amazing panoramic views of the sea. 

The breakfast was outstanding. Each morning you get the “smoothie” of the day as well as the hot dish of the day. While we were there it was French toast & Crepes with sour cream - it was delicious. My wife is Gluten free and they had the best provision of anywhere we have been. It’s one of the best breakfasts in Africa!

Overall, a faultless stay and next time we are in Plett we will 100% return with glee.
