Fantastic location. Close to contour path, beaches an Padel court. There is also a cool weekend market in walking distance. 
The house is super neat and tastefully decorated. 
Our host was super friendly and helpful.  Breakfasts where amazing.

We’ll be back to share with more friends.

The absolute best Guest House in Hermanus! The owner, Carol is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Decor is beautiful, breakfast is amazing, relaxing outdoor area is so peaceful, luxurious bath and spacious accommodation. Very sad to leave after 3 wonderful nights but will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Great environment to take a well-deserved break, 5/5. Attention to detail in terms of service and quality of the meals was amazing. Access to the shops, golf course is just a walk away, not to mention access to great walks along the shoreline of Hermanus. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Bamboo Guest House (Hermanus)

From the moment you arrive one gets an immediate feeling that this a truly serene space. The rooms are exquisitely beautiful and tastefully appointed. The super soft linen and towels are ultra luxurious. The common guest areas are very comfortable and simply yet, tastefully decorated. Meals were delicious and the sumptuous breakfasts sustained us throughout our golf rounds. After golf the tranquil pool area was a welcome oasis. The wine list offered a good variety of the top local producers and the list of other alcoholic beverages was more than sufficient. The fun, friendly, efficient and attentive team of Carol, Theresa and the kitchen ladies were always around ready to  satisfy our every wish. With its proximity to the golf course Bamboo is a must for any golfers who want to experience Hermanus at its very best. All in all a top class property that deserves more than the official 4* and certainly scores a 10 on our recent experience.

Beautiful guest house with perfect finishings. The location was great - especially as we could walk to the golf course and everything is within a 5 min drive. 

The breakfast was amazing. The place is super clean, bed very comfortable with a great bath and shower. Spend our first night just chilling by the fireplace in the lounge during loadshedding. 

Felt like a home away from home with Carol, the owner, being a super hostess.

Beautiful place and perfect destination

Absolutely loved this place! Perfectly appointed rooms, breathtaking views of the mountain, close to golf course, modern and luxurious feel.  Great attention to detail and breakfast is to die for! Will definitely be back! 

Home away from home

Absolutely wonderful, nothing to complain just perfect. Very nice staff, everything superclean and all informations were right. Wonderful bed, you will love it and for Golfers a perfect place as its just at the Gate of Hermanus GC.

Wonderful place for Golfers

Spent 4 nights at Bamboo, early March 2023 as the finale to our 7 week SA trip

Bamboo is probably the B&B by which others should be judged…..it’s that good

Carol and Theresa are fantastic hosts,nothing is too much trouble and the breakfasts are superb. The pool / garden and  outside seating are excellent 

Our room   ,8 I think ,was mountain facing and had a view over the pool/ garden and the room was superbly appointed 

Everything at Bamboo is high quality,it’s an excellent location for Hermanus, the beaches and the golf course is 2 minutes away 

Thank you Bamboo…..we were sad to be leaving SA but you gave us a fantastic finale

Perfect in every way

A lovely room which was again spotlessly clean . The hosts cannot do enough for you to help you . Great location too.  Honesty bar is a nice addition . Lovely place . The load shedding was a pain but worse for the locals .
