The host is somehow hostile, like he is bothered to have guests. Rooms are tiny and claustrophobic, without ventilation. WiFi signal in the rooms is so poor that checking the email takes minutes. Parking is paid (seriously?) but has no roof, trees or water. The place is hard to find. Prices are very very expensive for what you get. I don´t recommend it.

Go there only if you are desperate and have no other place to crash

When we arrive at the apartments the host was not polite and I had a feeling that he is not glad that we are here, but he has just work to do. The room itself was OK. Kitchen is small and also the bathroom. At the end of our stay I just gave the keys back to host and there was no question how was our stay, have a nice journey or something like that. During the stay I did not feel desirable, but just like another visitor who came by. Next time we will go somewhere else, no matter for some more €.

Quite OK

I had booked, via Booking, 5 nights in this structure that offered apartments with kitchen. I did not claim a drawer, but when I opened the door of the room (because you cannot talk about an apartment) I thought It looks like a prison cell. A tiny room, with a bed from a square and a half attached to the wall; a blind bathroom, without air fan; a fridge, an induction plate and a sink. This was the kitchen. There was no place to store our things (both understood as clothes and as food that we were brought in).

We stayed at LaRocca for 2 nights during our trip to Piran. We didn't want to spend too much money, however I think we spent to little on this occasion. 
LaRocca is right on the outskirts of town and as the town is built on a hill, this means the accommodation is also on top of that hill. So every time you wanted to go somewhere, you had to climb down the hill and then climb back up it. It wasn't a major issue, but is something to bear in mind if you're booking. 
When we arrived, we were able to park in the car park for a small fee. We checked in and went to our room. The room was small at best, had a double bed, a small kitchenette and a bijou bathroom. The bathroom had a grate in it to let the water out, however the cover didn't fit so you fell through it on occasion. 
By far the best thing about the room was the view. We had paid more for  sea view room, and this was certainly what we got. You could see the Adriatic and, not only Slovenia, but Italy too. 
Overall, not the best accommodation, but was adequate for the couple of nights, but glad it was no longer than this. It was isolated and everything was a decent walk away. I would spend a little more in the future and be a bit closed to the action.

It's OK

The structure is - not reported - in a viaduct that spreads from the road down to the center of Piranha. The location is good to be able to get to the center on foot in a few minutes, but keep in mind that the road, on the way back, is climbing. One of the strengths of the structure is the private parking lot, which allows you to avoid paying the daily overnight fare in the citizens' silos. It is under the skeleton of a rooftop and it is not explained why they make it pay (much less than the silos, however): the rooftop is not even covered by a curtain or an antique network! The reception is extremely cold from the manager, a man who is passionate about rock music from the years leading up to it.

Minimum

I was a guest for the weekend with my girlfriend. Beautiful location of the stable overlooking the bay. Available and friendly managers. Our apartment was nice, clean, included with all amenities (comfortable bed). Some fault the small finishes that could be repaired quickly and with little expense, making it definitely 4 balls. Excellent quality price ratio.

Quality/price

Clean but spartan apartment, there's only the strict minimum, not even a coffee shop. But there's a parking lot (paid) and when you know the difficulties of parking in Piran, it's not bad. The hiccup is the access... 15 minutes to the village, 20 minutes to the mountain, and it looks more like the Golgotha than a health walk. Advice for the elderly and families with young children. Otherwise, Piran, it's beautiful and there's plenty to offer on the waterfront.

We can find better in Piran.

We booked one night in an apartment. The booking went smoothly. Since we had already arrived early in the morning, we could not get our only room, which is completely fine. We were traveling with a dog, so we went for a walk in the city. The road to the city is quite steep, which we knew, but not suitable for older people. About 12 o'clock we came back to the accommodation and asked if we could book the room during the day. Unfortunately, the owner was still there and saw our information (Labrador). Nice and functional apartments no more, easy access, not far from the city and the beach so pleasant walks on foot.

Functional, nice and close to town

Apartments are located on a hill, which makes the view of the sea magnificent if you get room 204 on the second floor, from which you can watch the sunrise. Clean, mini-kitchen, everything necessary is present.
