Indescribable!
We got the recommendation from our hosts in Kamnik. When you are looking for traditional Slovenian food that tastes like "at home", this is the place to be. The host is also the chef. You really taste that she cooks with love. THANKS!

Just perfect!!!

Mira is a very caring, kind, and always smiling person. Her hospitality to her guests is very warm. We enjoyed staying in this hotel, which enjoys a privileged location on the heights of Kamnik. Breakfast is rich and delicious. So are meals served in the restaurant at a very reasonable price.

What a wonderful time.

Quiet and nice rooms in the hills outside of Kamnik.  The food is delicious and the owners Mira and Robi are soo nice.
A lot to see around Kamnik. The botanical garden is just extraordinary. 
You are in nature just half an hour away from Ljubljana or the airport


Great place

The reviews, all positive about this B&B, speak for themselves, but we still wish to add enthusiastically to the choir. Fatigue, fear of disappointment with no alternative, are the feelings that you feel after so many kilometers of motorcycle riding. Mrs. Mira and her husband Robert, as soon as you arrive, delightfully cancel out every possible fear. You're right at home! They immediately put you to your comfort, make you set up your motorcycles on the roof, offer you a warm welcome: beer, we can and a very tasty strudel made at home served with pleasure on the ground.

A very delicate choice

A very friendly welcome, we are welcomed as friends! As for breakfast and dinner everything is made by mir and it is very original, well prepared and very good and at a very sweet price! Do not miss this small hostel from which you can get to the Alps, beautiful!

What an exceptional welcome!

We stayed here for a week in October 2017: Mira immediately welcomed us with great kindness, providing us with many indications on the places to visit. The room (the Studio) is beautiful, large, very clean and equipped with all the comforts: the breakfast decidedly assorted (from salt to sweet: never eaten so much!) and even at dinner the dishes are tasty, the abundant portions and the ratio quality/price excellent. We appreciated much later the attention of Mira and Robi in making us feel at home, meeting every need of our anticipation (sometimes even recommending it): we hope everyone to return here, where we will wish very much!

Absolutely worth a try!

The placement is very picturesque but you'd better have a car - it's about a mile from town centre and up the hill all way long. (Always better have a car in Slovenia, a lot of interesting objects are dispersed through the country and the public transport is accurate but sparse). The service is above all standards. The hosts, Mira and Roby, are very hospitable and friendly, provided us with a lot of useful information and were really interested to make our sojourn in Slovenia as best as it can be. The cooking deserves special mentioning. All meals are hearty and very-very tasty, Mira is a great cook.

I stayed with my wife and the girls (8 and 4 years old) for a week at this B&B. The room is excellent, very clean and spacious with the possibility of using the cooking corner as well. Super abundant breakfast with a wide choice between sweet and salty. The location is slightly outside the residential center of Kamnik (a couple of km) but completely immersed in the greenery of the surrounding hills. Family management with Robert and especially Mira who do their best to make the stay pleasant with every kind of attention.

What do you want more of?

At first look, you don't expect too much. But whey you meet friendly people and try tasty typical Slovenian food ... then you know why an excellent rating. 
Let staff suggest what is the best and leave all to them.

Tasty food and kindly stuff

My wife and I stayed for 3 days in April.When we arrived we had a problem with the car on the way to the entrance, and the owner collapsed to help us.Thanks to him it was solved (with the intervention of the Kamnik firefighters, another group of wonderful people).Although we had hired only a bed and breakfast, we also stayed for dinner for the three days.Excellent local cuisine provided by Mira, the owner.But the most outstanding was the warmth of the marriage, far above the mandatory compliance.His treatment was the best experience in 15 days in Slovenia.If you go to Kamnik, don't stop staying in this establishment, it's much better than a hotel.One: Accessing the house from the village, not knowing from the road that there is an impracticable map error and that it is not possible.
