Everything was great (we discussed about how big tip to leave and what kind recommendation we'll write) until the next morning when during the wish to purchase postcards administrator said that we have to pay 40€ extra (half of the room cost) because check out had been at 10. When we asked where is it written that we had to leave at 10 she had trouble finding the rule. We all have been around the world in different hotels but had never experienced 10 o'clock check out nor neither of us heard admin to say such statement. We felt like it was the way to earn money from us.
Breakfast staff was very friendly and made eggs the way we liked it. Rooms were clean but view was about construction.

Disappointed

Hotel was very clean. Still had Christmas decorations up from December throughout the hotel! Restaurant food was very good and the waiter was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast choice was bland and the staff did not smile or speak at all! 
Reception staff were very helpful. 

I've been to this hotel for work, clean and orderly.The problem is the food, but in this case it's not the hotel's problem but the Slovak kitchen  Particular attention to safety with magnetic keys at all the doors and closing the hotel at 22:00.

Simple, clean and welcoming

Reserved as part of a business trip, this apartment hotel has given us full satisfaction. Recently renovated, the rooms are very welcoming and well furnished in the image of the establishment as a whole. The staff is friendly and dedicated, the breakfast buffet varied and fresh. Finally, the tariff policy is more than reasonable in view of the proposed stand. The only negative: the exterior appearance of the building dating from the communist era and the sad view of the rooms at the back of the hotel.

Freshly renovated and excellent value for money

 A modern hotel worse with apartment style and very clean, Ibis style, but with a country house atmosphere. There is no reception at night but no need. There are several access keys with which security is good. It has a good but somewhat expensive restaurant. If you have time it is near the center with several very attractive restaurants.

Good hotel and good price, pleasant area with park.

Don't be fooled by the outer shell and small elevator, everything inside has been modern and tastefully renovated, breakfast buffet has improved again this year, central location super price/performance ratio, highly recommended!

Everything new and modern renovated, friendly staff

This was a wild place, we had dinner at their restaurant and stayed for just one night. The restaurant food was good, the help was a little strange as was the front desk woman at the hotel. The room is standard right out of an Ikea catalog but newly refreshed and very clean. Simple but worked for us. Inexpensive and I sensed they may be privately owned in a condo type arrangement. The breakfast staff was very friendly and unexpectedly good. 

In a town it's was hard for us to locate lodging so we were quite thankful to have stumbled onto this place.

Don't judge the hotel by its elevator

A nice newly renovated hotel, close to the city centre and equipped with all the amenities, a good restaurant inside, convenient to the city centre and the industrial area, fair price and excellent breakfast included, to return for my visits to Dubnica.

It's a good hotel.

We stayed at Hotel Kristina last week, everything there looks newly refurbished and spotlessly clean, our accommodation was lovely, and also nice warm and cosy. The rooms seem to be on a twin basis where we were but it's only a matter of pushing them together to make it into a double, they were comfortable and I slept well.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and made us all feel welcome. 
Also there is the Chill out bar (also decorated to a high standard and newly refurbished) where we had a party and a great time, again brilliant staff (Simona) we were very well looked after.
All in all an excellent stay, would I stay again DEFINITELY. 

Excellent hotel & friendly staff

Nice and beautiful room, but in the morning was somebody trying to fix something and there was so noisy /after 7.00am (it was sunday morning). But stuff, restaurant, receiptionist was kind and friendly :)
