A great location for visiting the old town. Pleasant, helpful staff but VERY NOISY! Music playing until 4am and lots of noise from staff and guests. Breakfast was fine, quite relaxed affair. Room large, dated but clean. Good value for money but, BRING EAR PLUGS!

Ear plugs. 

A good hotel. Very convenient location: 7 minutes walk to the bus station and railway station, 2 minutes walk to the city centre, near the shopping centre, park. The room is spacious, comfortable, clean. Large bathroom, plenty of towels. Ideally the air conditioner would not interfere with the room, and fans in the bathroom. But their absence is not critical. A good Swedish breakfast table. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel.

It's comfortable, clean, quality.

Don't expect too much for the price you pay, but it is enough for 1 of 2 nights. The hotel is quite old. You can realize it once you enter in it but it is more remarkable in the rooms, with old furniture and facilities. 

Breakfast is very simple but OK for a 3 stars hotel. The only big contra I see is that the hotel is very very noisy. In fact, on one saturday night we were there, there was a wedding in the ground floor and even if we were on the third floor we heard the music, the voices and so on during the night. 

Another great thing is the location, in front of a mall and very close to the city center (5 minutes) and the bus stop to take the bus back to the airport (2 minutes).

It's OK for a couple of nights, but very noisy

The room, while large, was a bit odd (especially the furniture), but very comfortable for a one-night stay. It is a little run-down and it would have been really nice to have a kettle in the room. Hotel is walking distance from train/bus station and right across from the mall, and easy walk to the center of town.

Good for a one-night stay

The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly, the breakfast is very rich and fresh. It is 3 minutes to the main street where the bars and cafes are. There are shopping centers and markets around. You can go from airport 10 dolars by taxi or you can find a public transport.

İts so closed city centre. Everywhere walking distanc.

We were booked at Gloria Palac by a Polish cycle touring company.  We stayed one night and enjoyed a spacious and comfy room and an excellent breakfast.  What really stands out is the service we received from the receptionist, Natalja.  The morning of our departure my husband was feeling very unwell and knew he could not cycle the next stage.  I asked her about trains and she printed a timetable for me and explained that there was no train until the evening. She then arranged for us to ride with our luggage to the next hotel.  The young man who drove us also organized for our bikes to be transported later.  These two young people showed great compassion and really helped us out.  This is the second time the staff of a family-run hotel in Slovakia has gone out of its way to be extremely helpful.  We recommend this hotel, and Slovakia in general as a great place to visit!

Staff very kind and thoughtful

The hotel is located in the heart of the city - all on foot, friendly staff, cleanliness and timely cleaning. There is no air conditioning, smoking is permitted in the hotel, and when the windows are open, there is noise from the street, the water pressure in the bathroom is very low, so you can't get it.

That's very good!

The hotel is located right in the city centre, opposite the shopping centre, which operates until late. The main street of the city begins around the corner. The room is quite large, cozy, good bathroom with shower room, a set of towels and a cosmetic set. Personally, I didn't like the fawn and curtain more subtle than the light, but it's not a principle) Breakfast Swedish table: cold and hot dishes for any taste.

Right in the middle.

Two short stays in this hotel, in suites. There's room, it's pretty quiet, breakfast is good and the wifi connection is very satisfactory. No problem for the host or staff, who speak very well English and are hospitable. He'd probably have to review the toilet products on offer, too basic for the claims of the place. The situation is one of the best in the city with easy access to the train stations and pedestrian streets.

Over and satisfactory

Hotel Gloria Palace has really good location near the city centre. Round a corner there is a big shopping centre and also there is very closely a historical centre of the Kosice. Quality of the rooms, also service and the stuff meets to their three star rating. Breakfast could be more varied. Overall I was satisfied so that I used this hotel more times in last few months. So, if you are looking for a hotel with good position to the centre and good sleep this is a good choice. I can recommend, for business trip for sure.
