Nothing extraordinary about the place. Clean, warm, fairly cheap, with a very flexible management that tried to best accommodate our needs as a big group. Close enough to both the ski resort & the town's shopping area.

Reasonably priced, warm & tidy guest house

From 22 to 28 January, four of us stayed with relatives from Belarus. A friendly, helpful host, who speaks several languages..The rooms are warm and clean.Guarded, under video surveillance.Gopas was bought at the boarding house with a discount.The kitchen is full of dishes.

In Jasna, the owner's son met us, brought us to the hotel, first said that they had a family with children in the hospital, so one day they gave us another room where the four of us had three beds, bedding that we should have thrown out 10 years ago, old pillows and mattresses, the TV only works as a DVD, but there is no single disk, the internet is not there because of the weather, the toilet is on the other floor.

Just one day stay for us was pleasant and comfortable, helpful staff and clean apartment with everything one need every day. Definitely recommended. Demanovska Jaskyna slobody otvorena aj v jesennom case a prijemny servise v Pizzerie Tatra.

Lovely

A good place for those who come a group of several families.
 There are four homes where there are four apartments on each floor with one shared kitchen.
 I believe very uncomfortable  for couple  comes alone. Can be noisy and no real privacy. 
Simply furnished rooms with clean and tidy place.

Good for a group

The rooms are simple but clean and basically everything is available. The staff, like many other places in Slovakia, is Russian speaking, which makes it much easier to relax.

What can you expect for €10/night. Room is warm but tiny, kitchenette doesnt have any utensils, there are maybe 2 cups and plates and some plastic knifes. Owner had to be reminded to turn the heat back on during the day but after two times he kept it on for rest of our stay. There is a restaurant 100 meters away in Via Jasna, food is not bad but nothing exceptional. Distance to skibus is also about 100m, they run every 30 minutes if you don't want to drive to Jasna and struggle with finding parking spot. Parking is free in Penzion, Wi-Fi present but slow.

Cheap but warm

I like this place, no issues and very comfortable room. easy to reach jasna skiing places. Restaurants opens evening time mostly, but traditional food arround very good. I think will return again. Thanks

Very good

We lived in a four-bedroom, each with two bedrooms, shower, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. The nearest supermarket is only two kilometers away, as well as a small grocery store, a pizzeria and a restaurant with a national kitchen. Good staff attitude. Free parking and wireless internet, as well as a special room for ski storage.
