For me, this is the best hotel in SG. The proximity to Universal Studios is great! The rooms were clean and spacious. The view was picturesque. It is near to every tourist destination in Sentosa island. Definitely coming back!

Best hotel in SG

We booked the Family room (No 0460) for two adults and two kids; 3 & 5. The 5 y/o loves the loft bed and our 3 y/o is satisfied with the bed sofa. The king size bed is lovely! Nice and clean room with a spacious bathroom. Whole family fits in the shower all together. Nice view over the pool area from the balcony. Big plus for the kids pool, we love hanging out at the pool area! 
The staff is polite and very helpful. We received a delicous cake on our wedding aniversary. Nice breakfast at Fratelli’s at the neighbor Hotel Michael. Close to all main attracations on Sentosa Island. 
We will definitely be staying here next time we visit Sentosa!

Perfect hotel for families!

Have not written a review for awhile but this hotel makes me want to write something immediately. I’m still staying in festive hotel now, 2 nights stay and 1 more night to go.

Firstly, at check in, the front office staff is not professional, is it because I’m local!? I’ve to ask all the question like parking etc. He didn’t tell me what is the check out time, how about wifi. Then my package came with the activities tickets, I was told to collect from the concierge but the other front office collect and pass to the guest directly.

This is still ok. The worst is the smell of the hotel toilet, it smells like public pool toilet! Yuck! Going to check with the front office if all their toilets smell so bad!

We have a family room, honestly the furnishings are old and worn out. The room is also small.

Horrible 

I brought my Family back o this as it has been a bit of a fave, we have visited 3 times previously. so expected nothing less. Unfortunately it was a lot less, The room was not catered for the 4 people that were booked into it (only 2 people eg : coffee, cups, towels, the fridge had to be replaced, no bath robes at all) The maintenance wasn't up to scratch with hooks in the bathroom coming off the wall, the airconditioner switch was really hard to turn off. And just the general cleanliness of the place.
There were no food facilities you had to go to the the nearby Resorts. For the price that you pay per room and it being a 4star rated hotel, I am sorry to say I really think it has lost its touch.

It was much better years ago

The place has something for everyone irrespective of any age group.
We reach to this island through ropeway where we got to see the panaormic view of the city from the sky.
After reaching the island its up to you which activity or which part of the island you want to see the first.
We started with Butterfly and Insect kingdom and ended with Night show of wings of the time.
Mind you you should not miss that water and light show.
Keep luge ride before the wings of the time show so that you can finish Madamme tusads before 6 otherwise you may have to postpone it for tommorow.
And yes if you have some time left than you can also go and have a chill out near the beach, they have a beach side restaurant there.


Best Place to go in Singapore

Pros: Sentosa Island has always been my most favorite place in Singapore ever since I was young. There are lots to do here. Staying for 2 to 3 nights is perfect. We booked our family room with loft bed (Room: 0410) for 2 nights 3 days (11-13 March 2018) at Festive Hotel here in Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) in celebration of our 19th marriage anniversary. The room was overlooking the pool area. The swimming pool was a hit with my kids, very enjoyable. Location was fantastic and near to all the shopping and food outlets. 

Cons: Though our stay was almost perfect, unfortunately the hotel does not serve halal certified food (which is definitely a loss of revenue since we spend a lot of $$$ in inroom dining too). On the other hand, you can get halal food options nearby the hotel. Just use google to find one that’s affordable to your budget!

Family of 4 including a 5 year old boy

Booked a 2 night stay package with activities through RWS website. The room we booked was the family room and was quite spacious. My son started climbing the bunk bed and found that it was quite dusty and the sheets were sticky. There was a musty smell coming from the bunk bed maybe from the sheets, not sure. It looks like they don't clean that part of the room or change the bedsheets. Our bed was quite clean so my son slept with us for the 2 nights. It was quite disappointing since we specifically booked the family room so we can all sleep comfortably. We've requested to have the room cleaned the next day but it was still the same. Didn't bother after since we were checking out the next day. For a renowned hotel, it was a little disappointing that the room cleanliness was not their top priority considering that they cater more to families who often times travel with young children.

Good sized room for family but room/bed cleanliness needs to be improved on

We stayed in Family room for our short trip in the Sentosa, we choose Festive hotel because official website offers promotion with MasterCard. By privileges booking through resorts, we can get early check-in and some late check-out. Special thanks for Concierge Zain build us for travel Singapore with efficient ways. Room was OK to stay with my 5 family. Also ticket for attractions were really useful to enjoy our times. We would like to comeback again if still have promotions like this.

Festive Hotel

Spacious rooms, very clean and safe. Amenities are basic - bathroom amenities even include toothbrush and paste. The Deluxe King room is spacious and huge. Bed very comfortable. The room had a balcony with a clothes rack to hang swimwear, towels etc. Bathrooms are very clean too however I felt the water pressure in the shower was on the lower side. 

The hotel is located in the heart of Sentosa. At check in I was provided with a sentosa pass for the monorail for the length of the stay. Check-in was smooth, however what I did miss was getting information on activities in Sentosa etc, getting around. There are no F&B outlets at the hotel. However this isn’t much of an issue as the hotel is interconnected to 2 other hotels that have dining outlets. Also closeby within 3-4 walk are a bunch of eateries, cafes, restaurants etc along with shopping and the entertainment / attractions of Sea Aquarium, Adventure Cove, Universal Studios etc. If you’re visiting with family that includes kids one can easily spend 3 days and remain contained within Sentosa. However Sentosa is expensive and better option is to hop onto the monorail to VivoCity mall that has a food court. 

The hotel is more reasonable among the many hotel options within Sentosa. Good place to stay with kids. 

Good place for family if staying in Sentosa Island

Room smelled slightly musty upon check in but that didn't bother us. Shower curtain in bathroom stinks. The paint on the shower head is peeling and the bathtub is rusty. The water pressure for shower is pathetic. Found a bottle cap at the corner of the bed too. 
When I was resting on the bed at night, my legs started feeling itchy and realized the bedsheets is pilling, stained and there's hair that doesn't belong to me. Housekeeping came up quickly at 10ish pm to change the bedsheets upon request and that solved the problem. I also requested a air purifier then, as the room started smelling musty again but was told there were none. The room started smelling really bad at around 12ish am. It was such a hassle to get a room change as the kids are already fast asleep and so I tried to put up with it. Many times I was awaken by the bad smell and I turned down the aircon just to make the room even colder because it smells so bad. Woke up at 6am and couldn't take it anymore. At 7ish am, we contacted the manager to inform him of the problem. He was very apologetic about it but there wasn't anything to be done since we are checking out soon and declined his offers of a room change/late check out. 
I'm not sure if we'd be back. The kids love the loft bed but that smell in the room is really a big turn off. What was supposed to be an impromptu hotel surprise stay for the kids(I made the booking on the same day!) turned out quite disappointing for me. We stayed at room 738. Avoid that.
