Masjid Nabawi just about 150meters walking distance. A lot of interesting shops nearby. Foods are good and tasty. Most menu is Nusantara cuisine. Room just nice and comfortable. Toilet a bit small. You have to request and follow-up for daily room service 

Near to masjid An-Nabawi

We stayed here for Medina visit. The room is quite small for 4 of us, and there was no daily housekeeping service. The distance to gate 15 Masjid Nabawi is about 200metre so it might be a problem for old folk. The food are ok as it had be tailored to Malaysia taste (no choice of food(rice, 2 choice of protein,cooked vegetable and cucumber, 1 type of fruit) but they do provide 24 hour hot water at the cafe,so you can make tea/coffee anytime(no such facility in the room). i felt like staying at the hostel,tho), what i like is that they allow us to bring our food to our room which definitely help to reduce crowd at the cafe,provided that you have to bring back the plate to the cafe. Room and toilet cleanliness not so good and there was a awkward smell in the room. The pillow,bed and carpet also quite dusty. I hope they can improve their service based on all the comment as this hotel is one of the good hotel to stay at Madinah.

Ok for 3 star hotel

Upon arrival, many men smoking outside the two main entrance. Lobby is small and looks dirty. Lift are small but fair. 
Room is horrible, terrible, unacceptable and disgusting. You cant turn off the aircon and many guests are complaining it too. As a result the management ask to open the main switch board to switch it off manually. WE ARE NOT AN EXPERT electrician! We are just guests! Pillow is very small, dirty, and it smells. Bed is not comfortable, when you sleep, your body sunken in. Room too small to navigate and cant even put 2 big bags to open. Toilet well, its a budget one, small etc. Cleanliness was fair. 

Food? Its like they serving to refugees or homeless. Its horrible! Most of the time is always too salty! Food quality is down the drain, yes the deepest drain. Fruits you often serve the ones which almost spoil. Moreover, there isnt any proper ventilation! your whole shirt will smell of food. Tables are wrap with plastic and never been clean. Lightnings are poor too, too dim. 

I guess i know why they just dont simply care since they already have a fixed customer from the Malaysian travel agent. They know most Malaysian visitors are nice and never complain since they are on a Umrah visit. However, i find it unacceptable! Dont take advantage on guests just because some have more patience.

Worst hotel ever

Worst hotel..A lot of bugs in room..hotel staff Do not know how to talk with people.kindly stay away from this hotel.u cannot sleep in this room.hotel manager even Do not bother to register complaint.worst experience here

Umrah

We stayed here for 6 nights during Eid ul Fitr, 2018. The hotel is very close to the Haram-Gate 15 (also the female gates are very near from this side) therefore I choose this hotel and also I was travelling with kids and my old parents so it was an obvious choice.

BUT

The start was as bad as one can imagine. The check-in took more than an hour, there were other people queuing up and getting frustrated because of the non-professional attitude of the reception staff. I booked 2 rooms thru booking.com and upon reaching there, I was told that no double bed room is available. It was already given to the Malaysian tour operator. Ok, first they were not able find my booking in their system, I had to run here & there and to find Hotel Manager to sort it out. I was given a 4-bed & 3-bed rooms to be vacated in couple of day. Later I was shifted to the double bed rooms as per my booking. The most annoying thing was after settling all this, almost everyday the hotel staff was knocking at my door and asking me when I am going to vacate the rooms. I had paid for 6 nights, it was entered in the system and still they were asking me daily. When I complained about it they have no answer to it.
Now the level of service: there is no concept of house keeping in this hotel (and I guess its a norm in Makkah & Madinah hotels, all they need is money, I have stayed in Marriott, Madinah 2 years ago, and even they were also not up to the mark). These hotel know that people will come to these hotels in any case during peak season, whether you write reviews, complain for the service etc. etc. they don't care. They didn't come to clean toilets even once during our stay. We were supposed to throw our trash by ourselves in a big waste bin in the lift lobby. And if by luck you find any cleaning staff, they will look at you as if you have committed a crime. BUT yes they have the time to come to your rooms daily to ask you when I am going to vacate the room.
There is always a staunching food smell in the lobby to welcome you. The hotel management should do something to avoid it. Part of the hotel rooms were booked by some tour company and they provide food to their clients but the food smell was really bad.
The toilets, room carpet, bed-sheets were dirty. The AC control in one room wasn't working so the room temperature was unbearably cold. No wifi, even in the lobby as mentioned on the booking website. I can go on for ever, in my opinion AVOID this hotel as much as possible.
