I stayed for 8 nights in this hotel with my family. We were 5 adults so we got a room with 5 beds and a bathroom. This hotel is on the famous Kabootar Chowk at Ibrahim Al Khalil Road. This is a very happening area with lots of shopping and food options in surrounding. Hotel is 10 minutes walk to Al Fahad gate of Haram but the shorter path is closed 30 minutes before Azaan so sometimes we had to take an alternate route which takes 5 more minutes. Overall a basic hotel with basic facilities. Room had an AC, a TV, and couple of small tables. Toilet is a bit smaller. Staff at the reception is nice specially the guy Dildar was very helpful during our stay. Hotel has couple of lifts. Wifi is only available in lobby. 
Overall a nice hotel near haram in a very happening area with lots of shopping and all kinds of food options in surroundings.

2* hotel with 5* service. 10 minutes walk to Haram. Mr Hussain is the guy you need to contact if anything needed. Works night shift. Only negative is slow wifi. In a way it's good as you would want to spend more time in haram. Very highly recommended if you can't afford very expensive hotels.

It was very close to Al Haram (the grand Mashjid). 5 mins walking distance. very convenient location for the aged persons. it is on the main street to Ibrahim al khalil street and towards to Jabal e omar and Saptco bus station. The nearest gate of Al Haram is 87/88. Hotel is clean. Staffs are friendly and good informative. Lot of shopping stores around the hotel. Food shop and KFC also in walking distance. No food serves into thier restaurant unless you are a big group and you have pre ordered for your group only. other than you can buy food and eat there. Free wifi at lobby only but always busy, Free wheel chair, ask the front desk officer if you need it.

Nice Hotel, Close to Al Haram

Taj Al-Khalil Hotel located in Misfalah (Ibrahim al khalil street). very near to haram sharif. if i am not mistaken hotel consisting 12 floors. sizeable lifts are available. rooms are neat and cleaned.

10-15 minutes walk to haram

Very bad hotel. Dirty carpet dirty bathroom, looks like it hadn’t ever been cleaned. We had cockroaches in the room also. Fridge didn’t work. No AC in the corridors, extremely hot all the time. Had some air cons in the lobby downstairs which were switched off. The ceiling of the bathroom was coming off. The room was very smelly, unsure if it was from the air conditioning or the bathroom. It stank. Very very terrible experience. Avoid at all costs! We paid so much for it too! Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Only thing was it was relatively close to the Haram.

Poorer than poor

Absolutely horrible hotel, stayed there for 9/10 nights and would not recommend to anybody. Save yourself the trouble. 
1. We got to the hotel in the morning however they made us wait in the little reception area as they claimed they don’t give rooms until 2pm. We were okay with this until one of the staff members, possibly the manager, told us to sit in a room in which guests had just left although they would “clean it for us” later. We checked the room and it was in a disgusting mess. The duvets were still all over the beds in a used manner, there was leftover food, not to mention, tons of insects. And the smell, the smell was horrible. We refused to stay there until they cleaned it.
2. They cleaned the room for us (on the 9th floor) bare in mind we are a large family with children. When we were introduced to it again it still smelled horrible but we had no alternative but to stay. 
3. The room was infested with insects of which I took pictures and videos of. There was a cockroach on one of our beds and this was when we had had enough and spoke to the management. They showed us a different room on the 3rd floor and said “sorry about the inconvenience, we normally would keep you on this floor.” 
4. Again we didn’t complain and moved into the other room, though it smelled too, (all rooms smell), they showed us 5 different rooms and moved us 3 times from room to room with all our luggage. (Bare in mind, family of 6!)
5. The cleaner would not come to clean our rooms, our 3 year old vomited and they told us, “we clean after 4 days,” I thought this was absolutely ridiculous and we told them to PLEASE come and clean the room. They dont change bedsheets, pillowcases, dont vacuum or anything.
6. This should be number one but there are so many issues with this hotel I cannot put into order, the hotel is very far away from the mosque (al-haram). At least a 15-20 minute walk with children. 
7. Do NOT waste your money on this hotel. I will never book here again and I would never recommend this hotel.
