Great culinary, services and nature experience in a boutique place. We return here every year, end of spring, like the two storks that live nearby. Excellent trips to the Danube heart and perfect accommodation for families.

Very nice hotel, with clean pool, excellent local fish-based food and extremely kind personnel.

Able to arrange nice boat trips to surrounding water channels, lakes, fishing spots, villages and other attractions.

Rich drinks and wine selection at the bar.

Excellent  place. Really nice and helpfull staff with acomodation, meals but also trips. The fish meals are the best. Great for wine lovers as they will find bouth exquisite wines and the finest stories to match.

Outstanding piece of paradise in Crisan.
Wonderful being back at Pensiunea doi Capitani. We have booked the summer package which includes 4 days and 3 nights stay, as well as transportation to and from Murighiol by boat. Furthermore 2 trips to the Delta, breakfast and dinner are also included.
We have savoured the delicious fish soups, grilled fish and the wonderful freshly made dishes prepared by the kind and always smiling lady in the kitchen.
We have watched the impressive colony of pelicans and a huge number of others birds.
We were overwhelmed by the vast groups of exotic white and yellow lotus flowers.
We were emotionally touched by the view of Sulina meeting the waters of the Black See.
Definitely an unforgettable experience.

The best accommodation and experience in Danube Delta, the rooms have plenty of space, all is very nice made, real 4*+. The restaurant is with Michelin stars in local fish dishes. They have very nice pool. You can choose from a wide variety of wines. Tours through the delta are made by the host with his own boat, also fishing trips. The owner is great and present in the location!
I will come back in this location every time I will come in the Delta. 

We were a group of ten families that occupied the whole place and it was perfect. Rooms are all the same, duplex with matrimonial bed on the first floor and extendible couch on ground floor. All have balconies that look inside the yard where there is also a pool. Food was nice, lotof fish cooked in different ways. The small vinoteque offers you nice alternatives of wine from the area and not only. 
We enjoyed the place, the food, the people, the delta!
Next  timewe go to the same place for sure.

Spent 4 days, in one of the most beautiful place from Romania Delta Dunarii and our experience have been completed by the great services and nice place called “ Doi Capitani”. Clean and cosy place, with a very good traditional cuisine, led by Mrs Nina and a star guide “Captain Paul” for your exploring adventures of the amazing Delta. Keep it up! A place where I will come back!

We stayed here 3 nights. The room was big and very clean. The pool area is great. The meals were excelent.. great chef!!
We also bought some trips with The boat... that was the best thing!!

We definitely recommend “Doi capitani”. Everything was amazing, starting from the cosy rooms and relaxing outdoor areas (exactly like in the photos) to the delicious fish-based food (daily home made), to the nice wine selection, to the impecable service. Beautiful surroundings as well and trips organized in the Delta.

Everything! It's what you can call a "woow" location. starting with accomodation and continuing with the food and extra services. Fish based dishes are extraordinary, from the sour soup to main courses. You have to visit this place at least for 2 days!

Outstanding piece of paradise in Crisan

The best place to stay in the Delta of Danube 

The location is very good. At the edge of Crisan, we found a very cozy place to spend one week with our friends. Rooms are nice, bathroom small but clean. A lot of towels also for sunbath. The pool is big enough but the water is cold. The deck arround the pool can be dangerous due to the unscrewed screws. The inner restaurant was closed due the COVID fashion, but both terraces were nice. At the breakfasts every day same food, no fantasies at all... lunch and dinner was good but not wow. The staff was very helpful but overwhelmed. The lady in the kitchen was the only weak point of the vacation. Very bossy, close to rudeness, it seems that she was paying us to eat :)) i felt like a 12 years old boy who was in a camping trip and the big old lady from the kitchen was the all mighty boss. That kind of person have no place on a 5 stars (even if 5 is exaggerated). In the last days we preferred to go to Lebada Resort to eat, even we had full board on Doi Capitani.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the Delta

Fabulos fish specialities. Recomand 'Storceag'. Good room with AC. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Child Friendly. Take care there are a lot of mosquitos all over. Nice trips host organized  în The middle of The Danube Delta. A pleasure to travel by boat on The channels and lakes to see beautiful nature and birds.

We decided to vacation in the Danube Delta.
There are many options with different types of accommodations.
We chose this place based on TripAdvisor reviews and ability to accommodate a large party.
But the selling point was the description of traditional Romanian dishes.
In addition, after discussing with the manager they were able to accommodate various options for kids.

So I will make it brief: 

The food is amazing! Absolutely amazing!!
The traditional dishes are cooked fresh everyday based on the fish. Plus you can discuss menu in advance ... heaven.

The owners are present and able to accommodate any requests.
They can arrange any boat trips at any hour...highly recommend 

Accommodations are very nice. Bed upstairs and sofa bed downstairs for a family of 4 

We were a large party and everything went very smooth.

I highly recommend this place! 


Perfect place in the Delta

Travelled around the world, enjoyed staying in 2* locations as in 5* locations, I can say that till now I have not been in another place as 2 Capitani in Crisan - we felt welcomed from the very first moment that we reach the location. The owner helped us with booking the transport from Tulcea to their location-middel in one of the biggest nature reservation of Europe. From the moment that we made the booking already had a good feeling but when we arrived we felt directly welcomed, it felt almost like coming back home-even if for all of us was the first time in Delta (Donau). what could i say first that the room were very clean and cleaned every single day, that there was attention for every single details, that was nothing missing in the rooms, that all rooms have airco, TV (which we did not start, no need), free wifi. Children enjoyed the swimmingpool where could be found cleaned towels for teh guests and swimming glasses. the most that we enjoyed were the trips with the boat-we have had very good guide from the resort: nea Titi-he could tell us anything about histroy of the places, about the birds and the plants that we saw; he took the time to explain us; where other boats with tourists go with full speed on the chanel nea Titi would just take the time and spend with us the day as long as we want on the water or in the old small fisher villages. in the afternoon children could fish behind the hotel-again nea Titi would help. And the food-ooooo the food-we have ate in Tulcea to one of the most famous restaurants there fishshoup-ha!-they could follow a cooking class by "2 Capitani"-each evening we were directly asked what we found about the food that we ate and what we would prefer for the next day-so much care! if you love water,pure nature, watching birds you must go to Delta and then this is the place to be. This place has a soul-thanks to the owners and how is run-thank you Denisa for making our holiday such a great experience. Thank you!!!
