Our stay at this hotel was not pleasant at all. You can feel the communist air inside the hotel and also among its employees. 
Pros: its location&parking place, clean sheets and bathroom, clean and nice towels, good prices at a-la-carte menu (you can eat&drink well with 15 €). 
Cons: terrible beds&pillows, old furniture, poor in sharing toilet paper and soap, huge room prices. The cleaning staff does not take your used glasses. One door from our shower fell.

Also, there is an old lady who works at the restaurant as a waiter and she doesn’t know how to be polite, doesn’t know what means to smile, she always wants to get a tip and she doesn’t know how to make her customers happy and pleased. She made multiple mistakes and brought us food or drinks that were not ordered and we had to pay for them. 
Furthermore, I ordered once a chicken salad, the meat was raw and many ingredients were missing from that salad.

This hotel does not deserve the 4* gradation. In reality, it is situated between 2* and 3*. The prices for one night stay are huuuge, after seeing what it has to offer (202€ for a room with a double and a supplementary bed).

Definitely not a 4* hotel

Condor Hotel is a 4 star hotel, and fully worth it this classification. Very clean, professional daily cleaning services, large room, nice balcony. Plentiful breakfast, good restaurant and bar. 
The only notice it's regarding the easy chairs, bedspread and curtains, that look's a little old-fashioned. 
The position it's brilliant, just in the center of the restaurant' s and shops area, next to the famous beaches. 
If you know to hunt, you can find incredible offer at half price on this 4 star hotel.:)

Black Sea summer holidays

The Condor hotel is situated in the central of Mamaia.The room is large and has a confortabile bed .Every room is with a balcony.The bathroom is dated and need renovations.Breakfast was varied.The price was very good,but not directly ar the hotel.I travel with my 9 years old son and they put an extra bed in the bedroom.

Autumn in Mamaia!

First of all, maybe it is not the correct thing to write a review for only one night as several issues or even good aspects could occur during a longer stay, but I considered I should mention this experience.
It was the last day of the season on September 15th in the hotel Condor.
We travelled from Bucharest by personal car. At 12 o'clock we arrived and the parking area was full. With the help of their two employees dedicated for the parking assistance, I managed to find a place.
At the reception everything went smoothly, we could make the check-in even it was only 12 o'clock. We got a room on the 6th (last) floor with a view to the sea and also to the Siutghiol lake as the hotel has a horseshoe shape and the room was right in the curvature of the horseshoe.
Room was excellent, bathroom the same. One single issue, having one double bed and one single bed for 3 persons, the double bed mattress was a bit too soft on the laterals and there was a tendency to fall down from the bed. In the middle it was more stiff. Breakfast was also good, limited but good enough. There are only about 200 meters to the sea, the hotel is close to the casino in Mamaia (about 100m).
So, all in all, a good experience.

One night in Hotel Condor - Mamaia Romania

First off, do not get your hopes up thinking that this is a standard 4 star hotel. It isn't. The breakfast is bad, not even the bread is good. In my room the hairdryer stand fell off the wall a couple times when I tried to use it. The closet's door had a very big scar, that probably was there for at least a couple of years but the hotel staff did not bother to change it. It is an average 3-star hotel (definitely not 4-star) that you can stay in, but I advise you not to eat too much there (from what I've seen, their restaurant is mostly empty).

Average hotel, but definitely not a 4 star one

It was a long time ago, a hotel in a fabulous location, 50 meters from the beach and the pedestrian zone. Clean and cozy. The rooms had very comfortable beds, where you could rest beautifully. I didn't have lunch there, even because you eat with two snacks in the best restaurants in the area.

The number of rooms: 139, 131 double rooms, 6 single rooms, 2 apartments. A round-the-clock reception service, immersed in flowers and aromas. Next to the registration desk are comfortable chairs, a large and clean bathroom, every drink can be ordered from a mini-bar. The staff is friendly, hospitable, polite, in English and French. The Russian, every guest, doesn't understand. But there are two nice, very smiling rooms in the bathroom. I was accommodated in Hotel Condor for a weekend. The hotel has everything you need from a 4* hotel. Its location is great, in the center of Mamaia, the breakfast was good enough, something to choose from every morning and Good coffee. The room was spatios, the bed was comfortable and they had a nice bathroom. What I realy loved about the room was the lake view. The sunset was wonderful and very romantic. I truly recomand the hotel for weekend breaks, the beach is just 50 meters, many options for restaurants all around. I will chose the hotel another weekend break for shore!

the ignorance of the crew!
this is not what you expect from a 4 star hotel
more look like a low level rent apartment in the desert.....
no way we will go back to this place
and i hope the pressure of the public will make them to start behave like hotel

OK, there are really very few good hotels in Mamaia, so it's essential to book in time or you'll have to stay in boarding houses like this one. When I arrived, I asked if there were any rooms that were already renovated? In response, I got all the rooms that were renovated, I don't want to know what the rooms looked like before the renovation. The beds have probably been there for 30 years. I don't think I've ever seen such a bad breakfast buffet, so an absolutely bad quality and unloving presentation makes you miss your breakfast. The 4 stars have probably fallen from the sky and the low price (have paid €60.00 the night) is still decided for the performance.
