Magani Apartments & Maisonettes

Couldn’t fault the place, staff are helpful, rooms very clean & very good security. The only thing if your wanting quite while you sleep pick the reception side with pool side balcony’s not overlooking the lane, on the other side. We went for the Deluxe room I think it was called. Not the cheapest one those overlook the lane. We booked on web jet, I got the flight from Darwin, room & breakfast for 11 nights for $1200 for 1 person. you can book a courtesy pick up for $20 extra for 4 people but we got our driver Sujendra Ogie highly recommend him on Facebook. Got him to come in the first day and sat down and went through what we wanted to see the travel area at the hotel had books. He told us what we could do In one day as things are spread out. We did a day trip, the first stop took 2 hours to get their. but omg wow it was stunning, we went to twin lakes the look out above the lakes, they had a boat that looked like you where in the air above the lake it was awesome, they had a swing, crows nest you could get in and take your photos etc. highly recommend this spot got some awesome photos. The security at the front of the Magani are great, if your leaving or coming back & on the other side of the street and it’s busy, they will Step out & stop the tragic for you how cool is that. The Mozzarella restaurant oh wow very romantic at night candles lit and overlooking the street, staff are very helpful, they remember you every time. you can book a table at night, as we had 7 of us we found it easier to pre-book, what time and where you want to be on the balcony. We found get your massages before you eat lol theirs 3 places down the street the yes spa very clean aircon dance quite. carlies has the fish that eat at your feet, bit noisy but good massages and another one but it was expensive so we didn’t go in. The hotel has a special pks you can get for massages, if you want a romantic one for a couples, it sounded really nice. we just never had enough time as we did a day trip every second day. Theirs bars as well down the street, sheepies is Australian owners who have printed tips on what words to say in Indonesian they are great Andy and Cath. Theirs lots of restaurants & bars. Oh and the shop next to the hotel heading up to JLL legain st the alcohol grog was cheep for your day trips they sell Ice too.
