And a very old building that's been adapted. The entrance and reception I found dark. The room was a nice size, and a view of the saw. The bathroom was small.

Just calm down.

The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful! On the days when we were there, it was very cold, we always left the key to the room at the reception and when we arrived at night we had the air conditioning connected to the warm room! Thank you very much staff! They give excellent program advice and food suggestions if you ask for help! Breakfast with everything that is essential! Large rooms with good beds and clean bathroom with very hot water! Good price/quality ratio!

Comfortable and cozy, good price/quality ratio

The residence is very well located. For the number of stars you have, it is suitable (...not price)! There is a big flaw: hot water and pressure. In the middle of winter, a person wishes to take his daily bath comfortably...but this did not happen...the water comes out almost cold (situation verified in several rooms!)...the heating, could be slightly better. Thus, poor quality-price ratio (60 euros).

Stay in the residence - Winter 2019

The location is excellent as it is right in the centre. Antique rooms. The bathrooms are very old, which is a problem for older people. Besides the small ones there are stairs to the exit of the polybar. It slides easily. Also the stairs to the floors are of polished marble, so it doesn't take much to fall down. For a drain you can, but you need a remodel. For the conditions it was expensive. A couple 45€...

The weekend

For the price, it was nice. We stayed in a room at the entrance. Old furniture. The problem is the noise of those who stand by the stairs of the main entrance because of the noise. Those who go there ask to exclude rooms 101 and 102 that stand on the stairs of access to everything. You hear if someone arrives early in the morning, who leaves very early.

Cheap and nice.

For the price you can't ask for much more. An old building, equally old decoration but neat. Who wants to sleep after the day and work serves but not MT more. Which. You're walking with a tight budget will also be a good option.

For the price...

The hotel is located in the downtown area of Estremoz, right in the city center. It is a solid building with very nice staff. You speak fluent English. You can reach the bus station in 8-9 minutes. A lot of restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. You have the torment of choice.

A guesthouse in the center of Estremoz

Our first impression of the hotel was positive - it's located very close to the main square and looked very old-world charming to us. Beautiful old wood doors with ancient keys, a spacious room with two large ruffled beds, antique furniture and a balcony. The beds were fine, which is about the only positive thing we could say ... When my boyfriend took a shower, we discovered there was no hot water - and no one at reception to complain to! He later told me he even pulled the "emergency" cord in the shower, without effect. After dark, we also noticed one of the lights in the bathroom was broken and the other one very dim. The next day, we entered the beautiful breakfast room and got the worst breakfast we ever had in Portugal. Two hard, old bread rolls, one package of processed cheese and jam per person, and a tiny pitcher of coffee. Good we didn't plan on staying another night as there was also a building site on the opposite side of the street.
Pity such a lovely-looking place doesn't make anything out of it. The staff ranged from disinterested to rude, apparently they don't like to have anyone staying there.
