If I could mark it between the two gradings that’s what I would give it. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff is second to none. It is an old farm and they clearly work on being eco friendly and what they call agrotourism! The room was clean, air conditioned and surprisingly a mini bar! Breakfast was lovely as well. We weren’t able to take advantage of the swimming pool as we arrived late and had to leave early. The family next door to my room had a small dog and I can’t remember at the time of booking if I recall pets being allowed to stay as I may have reconsidered booking. What was worth noting though was that the same family took the small dog into the pool with them!! I’m sure the owners were not aware of this and even though I enjoy pets, this disgusted me as there were other families their with small children who I guess would naturally want to use the pool as well! Lastly, the owners had dogs who barked at night as well as the early hours in the morning. I’m not sure if it’s the place to stay if you are really looking for peace and quiet. Having said that I don’t want to take away from the atmosphere and scenery of what is a lovely place.

Maybe not the peace and quiet I expected?

Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms, with all the luxuries of detail, a small flashlight for lighting, mattresses, mosquito plug, little things that make the stay better.The breakfast is the best of all, with homemade jams, sweet caseros, typical Portuguese bread,... Zumos caseros, no boots.You make egg rolls instantly if you ask.The staff tends to you kindly at all times.

A beautiful property outside the city. Spacious room, gracious host, amazing breakfast, beautiful art. Wish we had stayed longer. Greeted with a delicious glass of Ginja. Arrived late so only barely could appreciate the scenery. Host provided us with information for visiting the town and area. We loved the visit.

Fantastic Place to Stay

If there were six stars we would have given them because this place is literally a paradise. Maybe it's not easy to find (thanks to Google Maps!) and only reachable by car but, you know, on certain occasions to get the best out of it sometimes you have to sweat. Let's come to the super positive sides: the welcome (a little port and fruit from their trees), the staff (family driving, all kind and smiling), the location (dived between the hills, very close to Obidos), the room (clean, spacious, modern and with all the comforts), the swimming pool (small but a leisure), the breakfast (with lots of genuine things made at home).

A paradise hidden in Caldas da Rainha!

After spending the afternoon in Obidos, we arrived at the Casal de Eira Branca, where Cecila welcomed us with a glass of liquor of guindas that was very good. Very kindly she explained to us the nearby places to visit and recommended us where to dine. The site is very nice and quiet, from the room we had access to the pool and some very comfortable hammocks.

Tranquility and tranquility

Over the last few years, whether for work or leisure, I must have stayed in more than 100 accommodations (and I think I'm short) Well, I can say with certainty, that this is one of the best I've ever met. The environment is super quiet. Maybe even hard to find but with the GPS of the mobile phone you can get there without a problem. We chose this accommodation because we wanted a place with a kitchen to make dinner. What we did not want was the typical tourist apartment, but a spectacular house. No words. It was huge, incredibly furnished and equipped. Perfect for going to a wedding with children and with your pets. There are animals like sheep, a teapot, a burrito... In addition, there is a personal pool with a pool of pines and a variety of tasty dishes.

It is a paradise.

This little hotel is hidden away only meters from the touristy main street of Obidos and is convenient to everything you want to see in that charming village: castle walls, shops, restaurants, churches, etc. The young staff are sweet and accommodating. Breakfast is pretty basic with eggs available on request. Don't miss out on the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our room was very spacious if a little fusty. Excellent value for the price. And the warren of cobbled lanes in Obidos is fantastic -- especially before and after the tour buses.  Our only real complaint was that the pillows are lumpy and insubstantial. A small improvement would go a long way.

This is fabulous!!!!

The rooms are very cozy and clean. They have a swimming pool, sauna and room with pool and ping pong. The breakfast is very complete with narural products. They have free WiFi in the rooms. Their owners Jacinto and Cecilia with their great kindness and sympathy make you feel at home and with a great desire to repeat.

Excellent service and family and very welcoming treatment.

Friendly and sociable owners, unique place immersed in nature and absolutely cozy rooms. Pleasant stay guaranteed!! Well maintained garden, beautiful scenery is a possibility of any service from sauna to swimming pool. Perfect for diving into reading a book or simply enjoying peace and quiet. Exquisite and quality breakfast! Highly recommended especially for nature lovers. ♡
