We stayed one night in a four-bedroom with a private bathroom. The room is modern, spacious, bright and clean, with very comfortable individual beds and a flat TV. Very cozy. Spacious and clean bathroom, with towels. The room has a small balcony on the main street. There are no blinds, as in many Polish accommodations and that at 3am is already daytime. The location of the hostel is perfect, next to the pedestrian street that connects the market square (Staromiejski market) of the new square (Staromiejski market). Very cozy. 400 meters from the old city square of the center of the new square and 140 meters from the square. And everything is very close to the center, the street is quiet, we have no problems with the reception of the room on the main floor and the reception of the main building is free of charge.

Very good hostel, very good price and with a very good location to get to know Torun.

It's a nice little hostel in a perfect location, just in the middle of the beautiful Old Town. Unexpensive, clean, got everything needed and the staff is helpful. No problems encountered at all, only the staircase is quite steep, so it's not suitable for coming there with a stroller for example.

Great place

The room was very small. we had free wifi and we had a kitchen with cooking utensils and a living room with a TV. the reception was open 24 hours. there were 2 bathrooms with shower for each 4 rooms. the cleaning was not optimal but there were no complaints either. it is very well located, a 2 minute walk from the center of Torun. there is no elevator.

For a couple of days it's fine.

The 4 Star rating is based on the low cost of the hostel. If the price were higher, I would rate it 3 star.  It is good for the money though. My only real complaint is that the shower water was never really hot - just warm. The room was small, but as pictured. There are 4 rooms per floor of different sizes and two separate shower/toilet rooms per floor so waiting for the shower was never a problem. Rooms were clean. The location is great, right on the edge of old town so easy walking to everything. The stairs to the rooms are steep, curving and dark so be very careful on them - especially with luggage. Reception is up one flight of stairs and includes a small lounge/eating area and a kitchen for guest use.

We were only in Torun for one night but we really enjoyed our stay at the Green Hostel; great location in Old Town; great value moneywise; large open reception area with plenty of tables and comfy chairs; cosy but adequate kitchen.

 A coat of paint to cover all the scuff marks in our room, #24, would be nice with at least one picture as the room was rather barren; PLUS a light on each stairway would be a huge help as the stairs were very dark.  Would stay again in a heartbeat though!

Perfect for a day or two

We are a group a 4 people and we have selected quatra room with private bathroom! When we got the room, we were amazed that it has one room for toilet and one room for standing shower, and most amazing part is, we have got a balcony!!!!! It is room 11 and we observed that there is not a lot of rooms come with balcony! Try your luck !   I would recommend this Green Hostel in Torun.

Green Hostel in Torun Poland

Really good hostel, in a brilliant location in Torun. The room was small but it suited our needs and was really clean. Staff were friendly and the facilities were excellent. In the likely event that I go back to Torun, I'll stay here again!

Oh, and mind your head when you're walking up the stairs.
