DON'T GO HERE! NOTHING LIKE CYNAMON! This place is disgusting. During our stay we experienced several issues with this horrible hostel. When we arrived in the room we sat on the bed and it collapsed immediately!!!! Then we went to the reception and asked them to fix the bed. We went out for dinner and when we came back the bed collapsed A G A I N!!!! Then we had to move the mattress from the bed to the dirty floor. The sheets smelled like old sweat. During the night it was VERY noisy. We couldn't sleep at all. The toilet kept making weird sounds and in the hallway it was noisy all the time. The room was not isolated from sounds at all. The bathroom was very dirty and the shower door couldn't be closed at all. There were no towels in the bathroom. The bathroom floor was super dirty. Also the couch in our room had a lot of stains. We didn't want to sit on it. Also the closet almost fell apart. We couldn't even put our clothes in it. There were no clothes hangers. The curtains didn't darken the room at all. To summarize this review, just DON'T go here and spend your money on a different hotel or hostel. This was the WORST night of our fantastic holiday in Poland.

DISGUSTING NIGHTMARE HOSTEL!!!!!

I've stayed at the Cinamon Hostel twice.I'm not going to Lodz privately.But I didn't want to spend too much money.I've booked rooms with my own bathroom twice.I have to stress very cheaply.The hostel also has vegan bistros,and vegetarian breakfast.Rest is very delicious.The hostel is very well located.I know when I go to Lodz I'll stay there again.

Good accommodation at a decent price

There were a lot of bugs on bed, we were moved to another room but they didn’t even say sorry (we back your money for the inconvenient)

Pros: - free parking if there's space - cheap - good location - warmth - breakfast is scarce, everything is cold, even no toaster, not to mention microwave oven - narrow toilet booths - no soap shelf in the shower

I feel bad to give a bad review, but we have been to several hostels in Poland and this was the worst. The room smelled so bad, it was cold. The mattress so thin and uncomfortable. We could hear the people next room walking, talking and all. I wouldnt recommend the place for couples or families, maybe its good for people who dont care where they stay at. The only nice thing we found here was the staff. Also i hated the toilets on first floor near the entrance, smelled horrible. And cant imagine myself taking a shower and walking in the corridor to my room. Good it was one night to handle.

Worst Place

It's in the center. Normal breakfasts. Responsive staff. Very warm. Parking is declared as free, but it's in the yard of a residential building for only a few seats that were occupied. The parish was set up on the street in a paid area. Fortunately, this day was a national holiday, and in honor of it all museums and parking were free, so nothing terrible happened, but it's still better to make sure there's parking space in advance.

It's comfortable.

I went in this hostel for 1 night alone during the winter. Beds are not very confortable and the confort is extremely basic but this is what I was expected for the price I paid.
I was never cold inside the building, toilets and rooms are really basic. "Breakfast" from 8 to 10 AM, don't really think about eating anything good here.

What do you say? the word tough makes the idea pretty good, but to make it better, I can tell you that I slept in a bed with the dots broken and the mattress was basically springs with a sheet!

A pain in the ass

Arrived here and the staff were very friendly and apologetic for some maintenance staff having to do something in our room. They promised us free towels to compensate for this...but we never got them!

The rooms were basic, thin mattresses and not lots of space, but clean. Bathrooms weren't great - the ones closest to us had a toilet with no lock on the door. The others on our floor had one with just a shower and another with a toilet without a seat or toilet roll. Basic maintenance issues!! Parking very limited but we managed to find a space. Breakfast extremely basic.

Fine for a night or 2, but no longer!

Just two nights at the Cynamon Hostel. The staff were not very friendly, just the minimum, not a smile. The computer with internet access was not working. The atmosphere inside the hostel was deceptive. Just a place to sleep but no socialization.
