Again, the impudent cleaning lady insults the guest and behaves like a rag. This time her hair is bleached blonde, a few years ago red haired, I also wrote a negative opinion years ago and this "lady" still works here, vulgar boor!

Znów bezczelna sprzątaczka obraża gościa, obgauje wulgranie i zachwuje się jak szmata. Tym razem ma włosy tlenione na blond, kilka lat temu ruda, też napisałam negatywną opinię a ta "dama" dalej tu pracuje, wulgrana chamka!

Cleaning "lady"

I stayed here whilst in Katowice and the location is centrally located and close to restaurants etc and the train station as well as other stores, it's easy to get to from airport and room was basic but adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. 

Good stay 

Location is perfect, just a few minutes from the railway station. We had a double-bed room, quite large but with no wardrobe. There are several WCs and bathrooms on the large hallway, rather than a big bathroom as in most hostels.

Nice room, convenient location

We arrived at 2.30 am and it was really pleasured that there was a welcoming girl who meet us, explained everything and it was amazing that she knew Russian))) The hostel is enough clean,  good showers, clean toilets and even a kitchen with a tea and coffee (coffee machine) for the gests. We had a room for two people - the spacious clean room with a balcony. The only thing that we didn't like - the walls are thin and very good audibility and we heard amazing sounds of snoring from our neighbour all the night... So don't forget your earplugs...
The bad was good but for us it was not so wide enough - I think it was about 140cm. The pillows were too much thin, but for a few nights it not so big problem.
The hostel is in 5 minutes walk to the bus and train stops so you can easly get enywhere you wish. But if you prefer to walk - you can get to the center of the city in about 15 minutes. 
In summary I can deffinetly recommend this hostel and I will recommend it to my friends.

Really good hostel for the weekends

This is by far and away one of the nicest youth hostels I have stayed in! The hostel was very clean and modern inside, and the room was brilliant! There were only four people in it and while I was expecting the usual cramped-in bunk beds, all of the beds were solitary, and there was so much space! There was a huge locker beside each bed which easily fitted a very large hiking backpack. The room was light and airy, and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately there was only one plug socket that I could see, but this wasn't really a problem with only four of us. The shower rooms were quite basic and small, but there were plenty of them, and they served their purpose well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and spoke fluent English. There was a nice kitchen area as well, where the tap water was drinkable. The location of the hostel is perfect; just a couple of minutes' walk from the train and bus station. I would very highly recommend this hostel, which offers so much at such a reasonable price. If I am in Katowice again in the future, I will definitely be back!

Fantastic Value

Staff members were really helpful and nice. Unfortunately this was the only positive thing. Very noisy during the night. Despite the fact that we didn't book a room for smokers, it felt like it. The whole room smelled like cigarettes.

Central location, but that's it

Good location, fairly friendly staff..... BUT bedrooms/beds/bedsheets were not comfortable at all! I brougjt a teeshirt to sleep in and ended up sleeping in my jeans as well as it wasnt v comfy ! Also the toilet in the womens bathroom was not working.... and the sink in the other toilet wasnt working either ! So lose lose situation. Deffo get what you pay for here, if you arent a princess like me im sure it would be ok 

Not that great

Stayed one night, arrived late evening. English speaking reception. Private twin room was adequate, clean enough, moderately comfortable. The rest of the place was a bit tatty and grubby. The shared bathroom floor was 1cm deep in water after someone else had taken a shower. Price was excellent, so can't complain. Would stay again. 

Good location, otherwise average

Perfect if you want to stay 1 or 2 nights, but without more, the hostel is very well located in the city 2 steps from Katowice train station and 10 minutes walk from the Galeria, the stop for the shuttle that takes you to Katowice airport is just next door, the hostel has a well equipped kitchen, however the bedding is not very good quality, I have never slept on such a hard bed!!!

Average

Very cozy living room with fireplace (even decorative). Excellent location, near a small square, a shop, railway station - around the corner. There are few rosettes in the rooms, there is a network filter. In the room I would recommend fixing the pen, as the outside of the room is not closed. The Wi-Fi password is better to ask at the registration desk, otherwise it can only be found on a tiny piece of paper on one of the information boards.
