We stayed one night in this hotel until we had our next trip. It was clean, and there was the necessary comfort. The boss was really very kind and careless, like never before. We didn't have a catching adapter and he loaned us one! We were able to rent a scooter from him, and he kindly offers coffee. It was a very nice human experience. Besides, there must have been a change of boss, at least the photos aren't up to date, there was a refreshment;)

All right, all right.

Well... there was not stay.We arrived to the hotel and they had just overbooked the hotel and we found ourselves, me and my friend, and another couple... on the Street just before New Year.We did contact hotels.com and they were not able yo relocate us so we were just on the Street, ended sleeping in a semi private home without bathroom and thanks we found that. Amazing.After using Hotels.com for years, goldmember... the service I’ve Got from the Phillipino Hotels.com office.... just a disaster.They talked like if I had to be just happy with recovering my money... ??? That I paid and never got a hotel and not for my mistake... overbooked hotel.That’s not all. Happened again in another hotel, almost same thing but this time the hotel contacted me hours before arrival... and again hotels.com... telling me they will do all possible to refund me... like if it was my fault that they offer in their website rooms not really available and I paid for them...I asked for a compensation and their answer kind of I should be happy just getting my money back.Amazing... what is wrong Hotels.com Phillipine office????

Overbooked hotel

Staff were really helpful and welcoming we stayed an extra 2 nights and they had a nice new years eve party Room is a little small but very clean

Great place for a short stay

After searching for many of the option in ElNido, I with my husband got this hotel. The room and facilities are average. One may not be satisfied with the facilities provided in the hotel but the owner of the hotel is so friendly. You can fully trust her, leave your belongings and ask for the recommendation to visit the nearby places. You might find the problem with water supply but at ElNido its every where the same. It is not the problem of the hotel but the problem of the whole ElNido

This house is completely empty, the room smells very damp and breakfast is disgusting, the staff smokes in the common area, and we moved right away.

PROS:

- decent location
- AC and 24h power
CONS:
- tiny rooms that feel a bit grimy and smell strange
- stained bedsheets and towels
- only 1 outlet in the bathroom
- no mirror in the bathroom
- shower barely worked and only cold water
- included breakfast is poor

The other couple travelling with us had a slightly better experience, but it's pretty hit and miss

We had a very bad time there. Worst value for money! You pay a lot and get very little - the room was old and filled with mold, toilet didn't flush, cold shower, no Wifi in the rooms, they shut down their generator for two hours during noon. In addition, the own was nice but the attitude we received from the other employees was rude and unacommdeting. Five minutes before check-out they knocked on our door and told us we passed our check out time...Unbelivable......

Do yourself a faver and DON'T go there

We stayed two nights during our passage through the nest. First of all, we thanked the treatment of the managers who were charming and attentive helping us in everything and hiring the tour A. We had breakfast included which turned out to be very fair in quantity. The room was quiet, little updated with air conditioning and a safe. Ducha with very little pressure that made it difficult to shower without a cube of water to complement it. We did not try food or dinner service.

Hotel simple well ubicado

we are group of five people and we enjoyed our stay in Katrina. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating. they even let us hang out wet clothes outside and they kept it when the rain starts to pour. they also know where are the good restaurants are. they also provide  breakfast for the whole duration of stay. 

the room we stayed is good. aircon is working. for me, the room is good even there is no TV. we really felt that we are away in the city while we hear sounds from geckos, frogs and crickets. we stayed there for  3 days before we flew in Puerto Princesa. 

they are very accommodating and each requests we made, they grant it. i am not sure if it is owned or it is partnered with Katrina Halili :) 

would highly recommend this and will definitely book again should i go back again in El Nido.

- Small rooms 
- No WiFi in rooms ( Please note that the WiFi does not reach any of the rooms. You have to sit downstairs to use it - not ideal especially at night when the mosquitos are out) 
- Bed is uncomfortable 
- No shower (can only fill the bucket with water to wash)
- Overpriced - we did come at a busy time however the price for two nights (5,000 peso) isn’t justifiable for the standard of the rooms.
