Urubamba Homestay

Joan and Keith welcome you to their home stay with great warmth - they are also extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the Sacred Valley and Joan kindly drew me a map of Urubamba as there are no tourist maps! 
Although this is on the edge of town, the moto drivers have no trouble in finding it if you don't feel like the walk home.  Also its position affords stunning views of the mountains from the bedroom window and shared balcony.
This is a fairly new build so the facilities are well appointed and the showers always hot!
Joan's breakfast is excellent with local fresh fruits, yoghurt and eggs
The bed is very comfortable and in all it was a very relaxing stay. Thanks Joan and Keith!

I was looking to get outside bustling Cusco and found this lovely place! The owners of the homestay advised me to take the local bus to Urubamba, which only costs 6 soles and takes 1,5 hours. I arrived and was warmly greeted by Joanne and Keith. It was a real pleasure to get to stay in their lovely home after some intensive travelling in Bolivia and Peru. The homestay has all equipments needed, and the breakfast is great! Also, the nature around Urubamba is amazing!
Funny enough, I mentioned to Keith and Joanne that I was trying to go to Machu Picchu, but found all the arranged tours too expensive. Turns out that Keith and Joanne arrange a very affordable two day tour by BUS (!). No need to take the expensive train. The tour with Magic Bus to Machu Picchu was under 100 dollars for two days, starting from Cusco or Urubamba. I would highly recommend both the homestay and the Magic bus tour.

Me and my boyfriend booked two nights in this cozy homestay in Urubamba as we were hoping to stay in the peruvian countryside a while before doing a tour to Machu Picchu. Countryside was exactly what we found! The place is amazingly quiet and peaceful! The lovely owners did all their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.They could even arrange a two day tour to Machu Picchu by bus. The tour was called Magic bus to Machu Picchu and we took a bus instead the expensive train. It was only 95$ in total! 

We stayed in this B&B for 3 nights ( March 20, 21 and 22, 2015) in the Sacred Valley of Peru.  Joan and Keith are the absolute perfect hosts and went out of their way to make my wife and me welcome.  They are very knowledgable about the entire area and gave us very good info on where to go.  They even arranged for a driver to take us to these places, which made things very easy for us.  The entire property is very well kept, comfortable, and quiet.  If you're headed into the area, this is where you want to stay.

This is the place to stay

Food was good and service. The waitress was friendly and did an excellent job by being attentive and bringing food on time. Food was tasty and at the right temperature. Waiting time was reasonable and we were served with courtesy and kindness at all times.
Bathroom were clean and it was prepared we everything that a pleasant restaurant can provide with when a customer needs to use such facilities
