Very disappointed with the services: 15 min to get hot water, carpet everywhere dirty, no bathroom mat in the bathroom, breakfast the worst of all hotels in the basement on garden furniture (no chemical juice, no fruit or cheese or charcuterie, just jam bread buttered) all breathing dust.

19th century hotel

The only positive note is the extreme proximity to the Plaza de Armas, for the rest of the eclipse. The hotel is very old, almost dirty and very very very wet and cold. When we entered the bathroom floor it was frayed and so on and so on. There are incredible noises coming from the street. Dulcis in the background we asked the owner to call us taxis, repeating several times that they should be official and she called us three private cars saying that they were friends, but at a higher price than the official taxis. Absurd!

A real mess.

The hotel is in a great location near the center. Breakfast is good. Bathroom is not bad, even though the shower needed a cooling. Wi-Fi was good. The breakfast room is small, it's better to wake up early in the morning to take a seat

A hallucinatory experience. We spent a night in Lima in this hostel. The only positive note is the proximity to the central plaza des armes. Cold room. No hot water.

After a long flight, this isn't exactly the hotel that will allow you to regain your strength. It's a rather large room, with a little bit of outdated furniture, very very wet. Don't waste time going to breakfast. The only positive note: the proximity to the center. Think carefully before booking.

Look for something else

The number one location of the hotel is very convenient and is a very quiet and cozy hotel.As for the staff, they are always waiting for one and if we talk about breakfast everything is very pleasant and varies every day highly recommended.

A very cozy hotel.

After a long flight arriving from Italy you were good-natured but the standard of this hotel is still not acceptable. The sheets seemed already used and the rooms were frozen, noisy and dirty. Even at breakfast I would give nothing but a sufficient. I only reward the location very close to the center.

Absolutely to be avoided

This was my fourth time in Bonbini, it is a chosen place to entry and exit Peru. Close to everything. Safe and solid, although, as it happens, a bit dated building with no elevator. The patrons are mostly local and south americans, often families. Free internet with computers (no quirky wi-fi!) in the hallway. Very good email response. As was mentioned below, if you want to pay with a credit card, mention you are ready to pay surcharge, otherwise the machine will not be working. And yes, they have a lady driver with a good car for airport transfer, twenty bucks (about same that in the airport, but she knows the place).

Strongly outdated hotel, located comfortably in the center of Lima. Reasonably priced. Nice, non-English speaking staff.
Breakfast is terrible and very basic. It is served in a windy hut on top of the hotel by the most arrogant, unhelpful lady I have encountered during my travels in Peru.  

Outdated hotel, terrible breakfast

This hotel has everything to succeed but fails abruptly. The best is its central location and the attention of some employee, the worst of all else. It is decrepit, with an abandoned and dirty look, the breakfast is unfortunate, shameful, the bathrooms are so old that even if they are clean you can't tell if they are, towels are so fine for use that they hurt.
