Despite being a hostel it is quite cozy, it has a kitchen that you can use, the receptionist is quite friendly and has a large common room where you can rest.The only place is that there was no hot water as for two days and in the bathroom upstairs the shower did not work.The beds in the room where I was staying were not very comfortable either, a little hard which made it difficult to rest well.

It's bit out of the city centre in a quiet place. The toilets are clean. Kitchen has everything you need to cook. The main guy is very helpful and speaks good English. I stayed here two nights and enjoyed my stay. The lounge area is nice to read. Wifi is strong. 

Cheap nice hostel

We stayed 5 days at this hostel and it was very comfortable, plus it is close to the center which makes it possible to walk until late.Excellent attention plus very attentive we are very tasty and totally recommended especially to the backpackers, the price is very good.

Excellent place to stay.

There's no one at the reception all the time, sometimes we have to wait a long time before finding an interlocutor. There's only one bathroom with a shower, but most of the time the water tank doesn't work, and it's very difficult to have water at the right temperature. Plus the mirror isn't in front of the sink, so it had to be complicated. In December it was very cold in the rooms, we slept dressed in beds. We booked a Finally Included excursion for the Machuchu host, but at the first stop we weren't on the list. So they called the lingerie service, for a total of 24 hours, so it had to be complicated.

good location but poor facilities

Staying in this facility, the only positive thing is the affordable price, the manager is nice to her but is trying to turn you around, the water has been cut off regularly, the bathroom is dirty, difficult to repair... for the towers, the agencies he works with are a disaster, especially for the tower in Machu Picchu... to escape!

Stay in Cuzco - Auqui hostel

I reserved a triple room with private bathroom.
When I arrived in the afternoon there was no hot water, but the attendant granted me hot water from 5 p.m. Well when I came back very tired at 9 p.m. the water was chilly and in the meantime also the toilet flush broke. They had no other similar room available and we left right away!

Never again!

The positive: - room prices - guest reception ==> they were very helpful and friendly ==> arrived at 5am after taking a night bus, our room was of course not available at that time but as we were tired the guests kindly offered to go rest in another room while we waited. Really top! - cleaning of common parts - very well located More negative points: - warm water that is cruelly lacking.. difficult to warm up after days spent outside - cleaning of sheets sometimes (but the guests are very extensive and the good points of change) - a real suite with a bathroom with a bathroom with a bathroom that is integrated with the occupants of the hostel is a trip to the inn.

Low-cost hostel for one or two nights only

The +: staff are very friendly and hospitable / the rooms are large / the shower is warm / there is a well equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, gas plates, tables, stools / the housekeeping is done regularly / laundry service...in the laundry room next door.

A mixed opinion

As told in other comments, the place is basic, but it perfectly suited our needs: nice people, friendly, always willing to help. We received all the information we needed but decided to do the trips by ourselves (except for the Colored Mountain - cheaper than via other agencies). And it perfectly worked.
This is the only place we stayed at in Cusco, no need to look for something else.
I would maybe not recommend it for a couple, but for a single person or friends this is a very good place to stay.

Nice place for backpackers

The place is very close to the central square, it is clean, simple and the guys who run it are very nice and kind!
