No internet, no help, no map or anything, no hot water, just a scary electric cable, no underwear drying up in a dirty yard, bad choice and expensive.

It's not recommended at all.

The room is very comfortable with a private bathroom (hot water and good pressure). Our room number 102 was facing the pretty nice little patio. The hotel offers excursions to the canyon of colca (we paid 130 soles/per). It is located a few minutes from the plaza. Count 40 soles for 2 nights or 50 with little dej The patio could be slightly better enhanced. The hostess is nice but the receptionist lacks enthusiasm and smile

Good quality/price ratio hotel with good location

The experience in this place was just terrible. I got there with my mum on a Monday morning and immediately asked the guy at the reception for some information about tours in the Colca. He recommended a trekking tour of two days that the agency he (apparently) also works for was organizing. I very carefully asked him how the trekking would have been, cause my mum wasn’t in the perfect condition for too intense physical efforts. He assured me it would have been easy and she wouldn’t have had any problem. Turned out my mum almost passed away in the canyon during the trekking, because of the heat and the very hard hike, and we had to arrange an alternative solution for her to make her way back up on the mountain. It was very stressful and worrying, definitely not something we were wishing for. After all of this we got back to the hotel, sure to find the room we had booked way in advance waiting for us. Sure enough, after having us wait almost an hour in the reception the guy told me that another person was in that same room and that he couldn’t kick her out. I obviously complained about all that unbelievable situation and at the end of the story he moved us to another hotel he manages around the corner. Seriously nothing more uncomfortable and disappointing had ever happen to me before.
So, enjoy beautiful Arequipa but avoid carefully this place!

Impolite, fake and disorganized 

The room was clean, has a warm shower and the staff was friendly. The hostel has a lovely rooftop terrace where breakfast was served. Good value for money. It is centrally located. I would come back.. 

Good place to stay in Arequipa

Comfy beds, breakfast with tea/instant coffee, bread, jam and egg. Noisy, WIFI not working in all rooms, good location. Warm shower. 30 SOL per night per person is ok for my standards. Friendly staff, they guarded my backpack without charge :)

Price/quality ratio OK

We enjoyed 3 days here and can't fault it. The breakfast is tasty and served on the lovely roof terrace with views of the volcanoes.  The neighbourhood is relatively quiet but not too far from Plaza de Armas.  We booked a twin with shared bathroom and were given one with a private bathroom on check-in...we were also able to check in at 0830 in the morning having just got off a night bus - lovely touch!  Good internet accessible (just about) in our room, but otherwise available in common areas and on the patio in the sunshine!

Nice room, pleasant breakfast, friendly owners!

Good points:
Checking in with the older guy was pleasant and quick.  breakfast was good and rooftop area was fab.  Location is pretty good, within walking distance of everything

Bad points:
The young lad working on reception - he was the root of all our problems and really doesn't know a thing about customer service.  He just wants to use his phone all the time.  He wasn't interested in fixing a broken lock which meant we were locked out of the room.  He left us sitting in reception while he texted/played games!  He was rude every time we had a question, threw our laundry when we said we didn't need it folded neatly (it was way past the collection time and we were in a rush and trying to leave) and just generally a rubbish receptionist.
The rooms are very basic, no storage or hooks so all your stuff is on the floor.  
You can get a lot better for your money in Arequipa

Don't waste your money

The hotel's atmosphere is conducive to unhurried relaxation. The rooms are fine, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is served on the rooftop with a splendid view of the mountains, which seem to be closer to what it really is (it's three hours by car), that makes you feel better. The owners assume the little things of Santa's life (the possibility of paying for a good dollar fee in exchange for a routine check-in, family check-in and free shopping).

The unbearable levedad of the ser.

We went to this hostel for a few days with my girlfriend during our visit to Sucre. The room is correct and we had it for 50 Bolivianos with private bathroom but without breakfast. By breakfast the price was back to 70 Bolivianos. So the price was really good. Wifi very well & dispose in the room. Kitchen set up and the proper equipment for cooking. On the other hand, I read in the comments that the reception is very good, I don't know who was the one but we were taken care of by a young man who doesn't talk much and doesn't smile much either... for us the reception was very f. On the other hand, I also think that we also had this city with his mother who seemed to not work... Others think the reception is kind, but sometimes the young people are not, but they are not even prepared to help you, so the hostel is a great place, so we have to compare the price to that of the hostel.

Well, but no more.

The photos of the site they show will be from other times as the whole facility looks very deserted. The room is fatal oil, the walls are dirty and in general it gave a dirty feeling. Being facing the very noisy street. The only common space a terrace with a covered part but completely open to the wind and cold, there is also a very affectionate dog with whom it shares the single sofa. In two days we did not see toilet paper in the only bathroom with shower that is available to share between several rooms. The kitchen is super well taken care of and is probably the thing that I liked the most, there are not many garbage but it is very clean and very large.
