The view of the two volcanoes from the terrace is the biggest plus. We arrived at this establishment without looking at the online reviews and we had a different experience: wifi works very well (it's bad in room no.7), small equipped kitchen (microwave, sink), bathroom (warm water) and clean room even if not all young. The reception was the same as in many accommodations. We were the only guests during these three days and so we had to fully appreciate the terrace (which is no longer very young but also once again clean). A good address for backpackers looking for a simple and low cost hotel.

Well located and cheap.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the location that is 5 minutes from the main square. Our room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty too (black dirt bathroom, unpressured shower, leakage from the sink, black floor, and of course closed toilets and dirty trellis). Contrary to what the managers say, there is no hot water and no Wifi either! The kitchen was dangerous, because the gas tank could explode at any time. The equipment on the terraces is broken, there is no demand for chairs that are still viable. The hotel manager is manageable and if they don't seem to want to pay any more, they say they can't book their room in this hotel!

Get out of here!

After a long night and day of bus (we were from Bolivia) we arrived at the hotel late at night. We announced our reservation and the lady replied that there was no room available. So she gave us our room. We talked for 30 minutes showing our reservation and she didn't want to hear anything. We also see that rooms are said to be still available on booking. Don't count on it!!! Finally after negotiations the lady opens up a small dusty room and tells us to sleep the bathroom. Unsurprisingly the common room was dirty and uncomfortable... not to mention the dirty room which is very tres hot and without water. Fortunately afterwards they also pay us only 40 so afterwards (two hours of negotiations).

Very, very bad experience

What a disappointment! The only nice thing about this hotel is this terrace with chairs to enjoy its evening. Otherwise our room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty too, obviously unlucky we didn't have hot water when we got up in the first one... the internet connection didn't work either! We had 4 nights and we left after only 2 nights. We switched from hotel a little lower down the street. The very morning we checked out and paid for two nights. Until then nothing more normal. A receptionist then spied on us (I weigh my words) to see where we were going! She saw that we were sleeping in another hotel.

That's dirty.

My backpack has been stolen from this hotel. Because the managers do not close any doors and do not monitor anything. Do not leave anything at the reception. They have not compensated us and before the police their versions of the facts to be changed several times, leaving the doubt about their potential implications in this case. Moreover, the reception of these ladies was unpleasant throughout our stay (5 nights). When we arrived we waited until 5 o'clock for our rooms to be ready (since we arrived early in the morning). However, despite our and our pre-booking, our rooms were given to other people who had just arrived.

Watch your step!

I stayed in the backpackers' service with a lot of fear because I didn't have much budget but I have nothing to complain about. Everything worked out fine, there were no scandals, no losses of anything. It's basic, no luxuries but good will. It's a very clean hotel and is in the city center, very close to the Plaza de Armas. I borrowed the computer whenever I needed it.

Normalito is the norm.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights, good service the lady who attended us at the reception was very kind enough that the last day we separated one of us took a taxi and Mrs. Salio to get one out of the hotel in the middle of the morning, the room was good size, it was three individual beds with TVs and an interior bathroom, the beds were comfortable, the only drawback was that the heater took a little time to warm up but it wasn't a big deal, the hotel has a good location near the Plaza de las Armas, where there are several restaurants and places to buy souvenirs, if we return to Arequipa we are willing to repeat.

Good location and very good service.

Dirty, cold, very disappointing stay. The bathroom was particularly bad - the toilet leaked, leaving water all over the floor, as well as mud and hair. There was no toilet roll or soap in the bathroom and the bins were never emptied. The kitchen was dirty and had no washing-up liquid, meaning most of the kitchen utensils were greasy. There was also a dirty pan left for the entirety of our stay. The hostel itself is nice but unfortunately the upkeep let it down. The location is also good - about a 10 min walk into town, though there were many other hostels around the same area.

Extremely disappointing

Thankful surprise from friendly and attentive staff to all our needs. Very helpful from the reception with the filling of forms, delivery of invoices, searching for taxis, indications of reputable picanteries and typical food stores in the archipelago to bring souvenirs, such as where to buy the best anise, chocolate, etc. The rooms are clean, ventilated, quiet, good space to enjoy and relax inside the hotel if you do not want to leave or el soroche molesta.

 Appropriate, clean, quiet but centered.

The hostel is cheap (35pen for a private room) and still, for that you have a hotel with great terasse, not far from the center (7min by foot), a GREAT Wifi and a very helpful staff. The kitchen is maybe too simple and the common bathroom a little aged but still acceptable (clean). We came here several times (between each trek)) and we love this place for the 5 nights we spent here. The main culprit, is the noisy street but the issue is the same in the whole city
