By chance we arrived at the restaurant, ordered a salted lomo, it was very good, the taste, the point of the meat, the attention, everything very good, we returned the next day and the same dish had nothing special, quite basic, very different quality on both visits.

Variety in quality

The place seems to be very traditional and for sure I had a great lunch, very cheap, less than 10 dollars. I had "caigua rellana" and with a local soap as an entrance, all delicious, lots of food with amazing price and the good opportunity to taste the best of peruvian food. The staff is exftremely helpful and friendly, and the location is also excellent, right next door to the Plaza de Armas and the beautiful city's cathedral. 

I love eating local food everythere I travel, and I strongly recommend Saryris, they will give you the best food in Arequipa!

BEST OF THE CRIOLLO FOOD IN AREQUIPA

We were taken to the restaurant by a billboard with a lot of appealing food. We were taken to the top floor. Some of the dishes on the map were not available. My food was greasy, rancid and burned. My daughter's potatoes were delivered when we were almost done, and they were not even there. We then waived on another preparation. The store was cluttered with dirt, on a kindergarten couch next to us was half a serving of pudding. Although it is advertised with the acceptance of the Mastercard, it is not accepted. Before this store I can only warn you. Avoid it, there are much better restaurants in Arequipa.

Incapacitated staff and bad food

Stumbled across the restaurant by accident, they had a whiteboard advertising the menu del dia for 10 soles. We went for lunch two days in a row and weren't disappointed. 

You get a large soup entree, chicha, mains are decent (meat w/rice and small salad) and a small dessert of jelly. 

Really clean restaurant with efficient service, excellent meals that change daily, all at an unbeatable price. 

Conveniently located next to Plaza De Armas. 

Do yourself a favour and eat here, you'll not be disappointed. They offer and 'a la carte' menu as well. 

Fantastic almuerzo deal

I stayed for patriotic parties, family trips, we were in a couple's room with an extra bed, the room was comfortable and spacious, it needed to improve the cleanliness of the bathroom, especially the shower curtains, otherwise a good and comfortable option to be a short walk from the Plaza de Armas, and the service in the restaurant was also good for both breakfast (included) and lunch times.

A good option practically in the arms race.

A good location next to the plaza of arms, the pleasant and comfortable facilities, the room that I was touching had an excellent view. It served us when the tour bus picked us up from the vicinity of the plaza and east picked us up at 4 am.

Convenient and pleasant facilities.

We took a double room for s/100 with breakfast included (or almost) for my room it was big and clean. But the so-called breakfast included was unacceptable! 4 pieces of bread for 2 ok everything is fine, but it's after it gets funny! They brought us a piece of frozen butter so small that we didn't have to bake a single piece of bread... and then the jam comes round... a real joke!! we had, without exaggerating, a teaspoon of coffee for two people. And when we kindly asked for more we were categorically told no, it's not in the price. We almost laughed or almost laughed!

Very mixed!

Went to the restaurant for lunch. At the entry are different menus for 13 soles on a big advertising panel. So we went in. The bored waitress brought us the menu. Suprise suprise: we couldn't find the cheap offers from outside. After a few minutes I found a small standee at the bar with the menus from outside on it. I fetched it and we wanted to order. When the waitress came to the table and saw, that I found the standee, she made a grimace and seemed on edge. Than she told us, that she only has ONE of the 6 menus! But on the bar where a lot of prepared drinks and desserts as sides for the menus and the local people where almost all having menu!!!

So we stood up and went out.
DON'T VISIT THAT AWFUL PLACE!!!

Tourist trap!!!!

I only think of the restaurant because the hostel didn't host me.The service is slow and very uncomfortable, the waitresses discuss in a voice with the kitchen...The food is not bad, although many dishes of the menu were not left.

A chaotic restaurant

The attention paid especially in the restaurant. Not recommended for tourists. Price quality is not conditional and the quality of the dishes is terrible. The quality of the products and presentation is very poor. No represents the gastronomy are equipñañaña.
