It's a very nice and warm hotel for the family, I've visited this hotel many times with my family, it has good care, it's a little old and with few luxuries, but I recommend it, have a good stay and it has a strategic location...

Buen hotel!

The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is a bit old, and nothing remarkable in decoration and architecture. The continental breakfast is not very varied, it could be improved. The price is correct. Ideal for those who are making a short business or shopping stay in Ciudad del Este.

For short stays for purchases or business.

We've visited several times to hold business meetings.On all occasions we were welcomed at home.They are friendly and helpful.The facilities are regular.The facilities have a good restaurant and WiFi.

Hotel in good condition, swimming pool with little water, good, clean room, reduced hygiene services but clean and in good condition, has wifi, cable solo de pararguay no cable with international channels, the breakfast is scarce in variety, it is cheap, the hotel departure very early at 11 am.

Hotel Ciudad del Este is located in the heart of the city.

Excellent care from the officials, comfortable rooms, a varied breakfast served. In addition to the fact that the hotel is located near the center of Ciudad del Este, close to all shops. If you are planning to shop or business travel would be your best option.

We are currently staying here and have been satisfied with our room. Although spartan for sure, it's clean and bright. The wifi works and the room has a safe. We traveled today to the falls by walking across the bridge and connecting with Argentina via Brazil. I have to admit I was a bit reluctant before I entered the fluorescent lot lobby, but the men at the desk are super nice and put me at ease instantly. The street out front can be noisy, but our room is pretty quiet and I'm satisfied. Keep in mind this city is very rough and tumble so don't have unrealistic expectations about where you are. 

Very friendly staff

Stayed there for one night only after visiting the waterfalls, so I was very tired and needed a rest. Unfortunately the room was very noisy and we had some really loud neighbours, but from the hotel they never said anything to them. 
Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful, despite they didnt warn us that the ferry to Argentine was not working as the port was destroyed during the floods in June (everybody there knew that) so we spent a lot on pointless taxi to there.
The breakfast was nothing special, but I enjoyed the big choice of local fruits.

Very noisy

It is a tranquil place for taking a rest. The bedroom is clean, bright and quiet. The counter is also really friendly. They provide all service we want. They help us contact taxi and give us enough information for traveling.

excellent place

I disagree with the negative reviews of this property. We arrived at 6:30 am for our overnite and visit to Iguazu Falls and were given our room right away. Our room overlooked the street and was not noisy at all! Room was very clean and breakfast was delicious with good options. Personnel were very nice and helpful in arranging our Falls tour. Overall a bargain for 67 USD for a double!

Pleasant surprise

I was a little worried what I'd booked when I walked into the lobby, which needs a makeover, and heard someone complaining about their room. But I had no issues with the place. We got a newly decorated modern room in pristine condition, with AC. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options. The staff were very helpful.
