After recommendations, booked 2 nights w wife, daughter and 2 friends.
 The good. Beaches although 10 min drive away and accessed by separate private boats, were some of best been to in Caracas. Single small pool good size and well maintained. Few other guests and jungle setting made for tranquil atmosphere. 
Now,... very meager breakfast and dinner for an 'all inclusive' at 105 night. No soap in room, no room change service. Staff polite cordial but restricted by lack of amenities (but Arnold tried hus best) Showers were in need of updating. Facilities and rooms run down. To get lunches and drinks outside required shirt drive and exact change and expensive for fare. 
Basically, little value for price.

Great potential but disappointing

It's a very cozy place and located in an excellent location, where it makes it easy to get to wherever you want to go, as well as guiding you on how to make your stay in Panama City pleasant.

Tourism and compras.

I stayed with my husband and sister in this lodge in 2014, the attention is super good, the place is quite cozy, if you get a good rest, the food is very tasty and everything is nearby: bakery, laundry, pharmacy, restaurants, shops... I would love to go back!!!

Excellent Posada is the name of the game.

Good hotel, with excellent location, close to pharmacies, restaurants and ATMs. It has well-trained staff, with adequate and cordial service. The breakfast coffee is good and well served, but make sure to arrive early and pick up the freshest items.

Very good hotel

I've stayed here several times, I think it's a good option since the price is affordable and it's very well located, it's a very safe place that I like quite a bit, given that the tourist spot is easy to get taxis to take it.

A good option for economic travel.

Very nice, clean, good breakfast.In a very central area, near a small park and Via Argentina, with restaurants and bars of all kinds.Recommended for those who do not know Panama for a great starting point.

Very pretty.

I recommend the honey water suite. It's very clean, safe, rich breakfast and the people who work are very friendly. Perfect for going as a couple. I recommend ordering a piece that is away from the water pump as it makes a lot of noise at night and costs sleep.

Very good.

This hotel has a great location and is comfortable.  Located in the El Cangrejo neighborhood, you really get a feel for the real Panama here.  There are tons of great restaurants, wonderful bars and it is safe to walk around.  The hotel had great showers and nice decor.  There wasn't a closet in our room so you should be prepared for folding some items.  

The hotel had good wifi, a decent continental breakfast and very chilly AC in the rooms if you wanted it, which we did.  The only complaint of mine is that the walls are thin and you could sometimes hear the sounds from other rooms if a shower was running or if people were up and about.  

The staff pretty much only spoke Spanish but with a little pantomiming and google translate I was able to get everything I needed.

Excellent Budget Hotel

The hotel is in a great neighborhood near bars, restaurants, pharmacy, electronic box, very affordable. The staff are reliable, we requested that we leave our luggage in this hotel to visit other places in Panama and on the way back we had no problems with our belongings. We only had problems with the taxis that the hotel requested by phone. Cost x great benefit, room wide, air conditioning, hot bath, everything very good!

Great location and cost x benefit

It was just hard to find the place because it's in the wrong address on Google Maps -- and the confused streets don't help either. We only find it after a few laps, and after we call the inn. We stay in the room that was right next to the front desk, which was a little noisy because of the phone and the door. The service is good, simple but comfortable accommodations, and the neighborhood is very good.
