The Muscate Holiday Hotel was very good and especially its restaurant and buffet service. I must say the deserts were always varied and the fruit displayed in a very creative way. The entrance Hall and the reception area were too shiny for my personal taste, but contrasted with the bedrooms whose decoration was sober.

Very good hotel with outdoor swimming pool and gym. Well placed because we were able to go out at night to the big mall and full of fast food and fresh fruit juices. The rooms are spacious but the furniture is a little old. Very good breakfast and dinner, very complete with a smiling and very responsive staff. Clean rooms and very competent staff.

stay in Muscat

Stayed with this beautiful property, centrally located in the town, rooms are very comfortable with some good food being served in the restaurant. Impressed with the Gymnasium staff and swimming pool staff. Must visit!

Good and comfortable stay.

A good hotel with good service, very nice staff and clean rooms, but the hotel is in the middle of nowhere.

Misplaced

The hotel is centrally located within the main city. It’s about 30min drive to the old town and 40min from the more secluded beaches. 

The staff are very good and extremely helpful.  The beds are comfortable and the hotel is very clean and tidy. 

The hotel is dated and would benefit from a refresh. If you can get past the ascetics, it’s a good place to stay.  

They only real issue was the shower, which worked well but the shower head was fixed and at 5’9” I’m not the tallest person. The shower head was at my shoulder height which meant kneeling down to wash my head. 

Great service but tired facilities

We stayed almost 10 nights in this hotel, nice and clean rooms,good price for room,near to all access, good food and drinks,huge swimming pool and big gym,very helpful reception staff,good facilities and sure we will stay back.

Good address

A nice, comfortable, quiet hotel with a large swimming pool, a little old but very clean with plenty of service, a good and pleasant breakfast, ideal for a short stay in Mascate.

To live in the shadow of Oman

On our tour through Oman, we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights.The hotel was very quiet, the rooms were large enough and very clean. Only the bedding was a little cloudy (before the trailer).This is hardly preventable, however, as the air conditioning system runs almost continuously due to the heat.The breakfast buffet was more than enough, one morning was even placed at the pool.The dinner was also available as a buffet and there was absolutely something in the pool and enough for everyone.One evening it was also placed at the pool.
