We stayed over at the room with a private toilet for 3 days - the room was acquitted with anything we can wish for. I appreciated the beautiful landscaping they have around the building and the restaurant. Breakfast was nice and the restaurant is located outside - good food for a cheap price!

Absolutely amazing!

We stayed two days. The beds are relaxing, the food is a mixture of Norwegian and Thai kitchen, fresh and tasty. The owner and his crew is very service minded. Charging of electric car is possible. The place is perfect for walking tours in the mountains near by in West Norway. We recommend this place hearty.

Cosy and charming

Very unusual and warm hotel. Room with comfortable bathroom. Good evening meal in a nice dining room. We recommend Thai dishes. Good lunch with no more. Especially good quality price ratio for Norway

Excellent price ratio

We had booked two rooms and when we arrived at the hotel, he announced that we had to drive further to the port and that we actually had a small apartment on the ground floor. The reception was quite mixed up that day, he showed us a photo of where we were supposed to go. We were briefed on some hiking plans in the area which was nice. I asked him how we were doing for breakfast as we are 500 meters from the main hotel and he told me that this is not planned, it costs 75 NOK per person extra and he wanted to know right away whether we should eat breakfast or not. So we also chose to go shopping on the top floor of the village. The upstairs apartment would have been better, and the upstairs apartment is located in the upstairs apartment and the upstairs apartment is located in front of the apartment.

Apartment in the port of Lofthus on the ground floor

Between the hotel and the hostel, with a small but comfortable room, and a very clean and functional bathroom-toilet on the ground floor. The property is located in a charming hamlet on the edge of the Hardanger fjord and along a stream. A warm home and very good cuisine offering very tasty local dishes. An excellent breakfast with extra homemade jams. And finally a good value for money, which is an important asset in Norway!

Three good addresses

We booked a double room with a private Bath.  The room was huge, new and very clean. Enjoyed it really.   
Also the restaurant/bar is worth to test.  Good food and drinks for a fair price. The hosts are very friendly.  
The guesthouse and its surroundings with nice details. :)
Next time we will stay longer.  

Short but great stay in Ullensvang    

Two nights and an evening meal allow me to tell you that this hotel and restaurant is worth a visit.

What a beautiful step

Everything matches the description and the reviews. Very cozy, quiet and comfortable hotel. A beautiful room with bathroom. A comfortable and comfortable bed. A great variety of breakfast. A good restaurant. In the yard there are tables where you can drink beer, have a snack. There is no fridge in the room. Free parking.

It's a comfortable hotel.

This sweet little place has just what you want with an extra bit of friendliness! We stayed for two nights, clean rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast and good food. The service was great, and when we had to cancel our last night (due to the weather), this was no problem at all. We would highly recommend staying in Lofthus, and if you do, stay at Ullensvang Gjestheim :)

Cosy and very very friendly

For my short stay, a nice accommodation, even though it was right down the street and still quiet, there was a small breakfast buffet, a choice of cereals, various homemade marmalades, various sausages and cheeses to fish. I liked it.
