been here one time before and we did choose this again for our accommodation this year again. superb spec and spacious aparatment.. so close to the skilifts, aprox 2 min.. out the door across the road what is not busy and you are on the lifts.  plenty of space in the apartment seperate bedroom, good kitchen facilities, very warm, nice bathroom, and  living room large.  all shops etc within 2 min walk , even a restaurant on the 1st floor,  we did use crystalski since we coming form the uk, very good slopes so 10/10 for us.. just amazing for families and beginners.

Super hotel to stay I'm.  We booked with crystalski from the uk   great apartments  close to the slopes and shops   . Clean aprtment with nice bedrooms and kitchen n livingroom. We rented ski across the road and has 2 min to walk to the slopes

I was going to hike the Beseggen trail, and my bus supposedly connected in Beitostolen, however on that day there was no continuing service to Gjendesheim, so I was stranded at 6 pm in Beitostolen with no reservation.

I went to Beitostolen Gjestegaard and the lady (manager) was super helpful, she offerred me a room at her apartment hotel and also suggested a cheaper room closeby with another property.

I elected to stay at Gjestegaard and was happy I did.

Everything is expensive in Norway, so can't compare value to US hotels, the room was clean and good value and had an excellent view.

Recommended due to excellent service in helping a stranded traveller, and the care and graciousness the manager took.

Spacious, clean, well maintained apartments with absolutely everything you need!! Right opposite the ski slopes - only downfall no ski storage but you can hire lockers at the ski centre opposite! Bar and restaurant downstairs are lovely, food good and staff friendly! Thank you for a great stay!

In advance we got a call from Beitostølen Gjestegaard as they wanted to know we planned to arrive. I understood later that it's because noone would be there in the reception when all guests had arrived.

If you have no sheets brought with you, you can rent what you need there.
The apartment was big, and at the top floor with an extra floor with a couple of beds. The guests before us had cleaned well (at least someone had done so). Everything you need for cooking were in place.

The minus for this apartment was the lack of light at the bedsides of the sleeping rom we used. No bulb in one lamp, and the other one probably damaged. And ... the water in the shower room was not guided properly to the outlet. Bad work by the plumber and/or tiles worker in this room 508.

The room card can be used to get in and out of the building and into the garage in the bottom floor (the reception is in the 3rd floor as the entrance is on the side where the main road passes higher than the road on the other/parkig/view side).

Totally we were happy with the stay, and this room and maybe a couple of other rooms might be more expencive and bigger than others as we we were late ordering.

Price/experience ok even though one has to clean the room by oneself.

This mid priced apartment hotel has an ecellent location right in the middle of the village. Only 100 meters from the ski-lift. We had a two bedrom apartment, one room with a double bed, on one with a bunkbed who could sleep 3. maintenance and cleaning was ok. However there was no cupboards whatsoever, so if you're staying for a week or so it might get messy.
we also had a west faced balcony, so we had the sun all afternoon. Grocerystore and pubs, cafees and restaurants right across the street. There is also a tapas bar in house.

Superb family ski holiday

Beitostolen Gjestegaard offers spacious basic apartments near hiking and ski facilities.  The beds are adequate.  The kitchen has basic cooking and serving utensils.  The main ski lifts are across the street.  Though we stayed there in August, the town was busy with different groups who often arrive late at night.  One drawback is the proximity to a pub with quite loud music late in the night that must be buffered by tightly shutting the windows.  Linens are extra.  We also received a surprise at check-out when the bill included a surcharge for Friday night that was not indicated in the reservation.

Spacious, simple accommodations

We decided to have a return skiing trip to Beitostolen in the Feb half term. We had previously stayed at the Bergo Cabins but thought we would try the Gjestegaard due to its central location. Unfortunately it didn’t come up to par, the apartment itself was small, and the bedrooms even smaller. There is no on site reception so everything has to be dealt through the Radisson SAS, check in is there and key collection, make sure to ask on arrival if you have had you room made up, as ours hadn’t so another 200m hike back to the reception to ask. 
There is no where to store skis or boots in the apartment so would recommend hiring a locker at the ski shop opposite, a lot easier! 
We are looking at a third return visit to resort, but I would definitely go for a log cabin, more spacious.
Overall the apartment was adequate it had a good kitchen, living area was a little cramped and we could here noise from next door quite clearly, but a good location.
