From 10 April 2023, an environmental fee per villa will be introduced as a contribution to the marine conservation programme.

From 1 August 2023, a mandatory Seychelles government tax, the Sustainable Tourism Tax, will be levied per person per night (13 years and over). The collection will support the country's efforts to protect and improve its natural environment.

Seychelles entry requirements:

All visitors still require a valid Travel Authorization (TA) for entry into Seychelles. This must be done through the online portal. Additional information and instructions are available on the portal, including support to provide specific clarifications. Routine requirement for COVID-19 vaccination and routine requirement for negative COVID-19 test has been removed.

The entry requirements by immigrations are now as follows for visitors, from all countries.

Before Travel: Completion of Travel Declaration and valid Travel and Health insurance to cover potential COVID-19 related cases; COVID-19 related costs include, but not limited to, testing, treatment, isolation and quarantine for the illness.

Arrival: May be subject to routine health screening.

Stay: No limitations from public health perspective; other Government sectors may apply certain conditions.

All visitors are requested to adhere to all stated procedures and ensure that all requirements are met prior to arrival, failing which, may result in restriction of entry. All individuals arriving in Seychelles are advised to report any symptoms they develop, that may be associated with COVID-19 to their nearest health centre, and may be subject to testing, isolation, care and/or quarantine, as indicated by national protocols in-effect.
