La Casa de Carlitos

All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country. If a person subject to paying the tax and another exempt from the same share a room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.

Know Before You Go

• The seasonal pool will be open from September to March.
• Pool access available from 11:00 AM to 9 PM.
• A fee for a mandatory New Year's Eve gala dinner is included in the total price displayed for stays on 31 December.
• Only registered guests are allowed in the guestrooms.

• Christmas Day (25 December) Gala Dinner per child: USD 40 (from 2 to 10 years old)
• New Year's Day (1 January) Gala Dinner per adult: USD 70
• New Year's Day (1 January) Gala Dinner per child: USD 40 (from 2 to 10 years old)
• Valentine's Day (14 February) Gala Dinner per adult: USD 80
• Valentine's Day (14 February) Gala Dinner per child: USD 50 (from 2 to 10 years old)
• The national sales tax (19%) is charged upon check-out to citizens of Chile regardless of length of stay and to foreigners staying in the country for 60 consecutive days or more. To qualify for a tax exemption, foreigners must pay for their stay in foreign currency (not in Chilean pesos) and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon arrival in the country at check-in. Furthermore, the tax may apply per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest.
