Hostal San Vicente

All citizens of Chile, regardless of the duration of their stay, and all foreigners who stay in the country for at least 60 consecutive days may have to pay the national sales tax (19%) when checking out. To receive tax exemption, foreign citizens must pay for their stay upon entry in foreign currency (not Chilean pesos) or with a credit card issued abroad and present a valid passport along with the migration card they received upon entry into the country. If a person subject to paying the tax and another exempt from the same share a room, the rate may be applied to the entire room.

Fees

The following fees and deposits are charged by the property at time of service, check-in, or check-out.

• Fee for continental breakfast: CLP 2000.00 for adults and CLP 1500 for children (approximately)
• Airport shuttle fee: CLP 20000.00 per person (roundtrip)
• Pet fee: CLP 6 per pet, per night
• Early check-in fee: CLP 10000 (subject to availability)
• Rollaway bed fee: CLP 5000 per day

Mandatory Fees and Taxes

Furthermore, the tax may apply per room when the room is shared by a taxable and a nontaxable guest.
