Vanern residence is just a home away from home. Fantastic interior and exterior. Aesthetic designs in rooms/apartment. Much discounts in every service demanded for, car hire service available almost free of charge. Food cuisines of different varieties (Chinese, Indian, Italian, french, Mexican et al). Their customer service is exquisite. Rooms always sparkling and serene environment. It's just a place to be.

After 3 weeks at the hotel, I feel extremely qualified to provide a review! This hotel really became a home away from home for me. The property is extremely central (technically Maitama but recognised as Wuse 2), making commuting around the city (especially as I relied on UBER) extremely easy. The rooms are beautifully decorated, generous on size, lots of storage and a lovely kitchenette. The staff were friendly, very attentive and extremely  accommodating of all of my requests and always willing to assist even with some off piste requests (e.g I was able to organise a car and driver for a 2 day trip to Kaduna with their car service and for a reasonable price!). The restaurant serves excellent and fresh food and were pretty cool about tailoring dishes to my taste. This is really a place to go when you want peace and good quality, central accommodation. There is no alcohol served on premises but don't let this put you off as you can byo in the privacy of your room and there is a wide offering of public houses nearby. The quality of the service and attention to detail stood out in a city where this is so often lacking. I'd recommend this place to anyone and will definitely stay here again. Lovely hotel, very clean and modern. Also incredibly comfortable. Located in the heart of Abuja, so it's basically close to everywhere. Staff were really polite and attentive. Will definitely visit again on my next Abuja trip.

Like most city hotels, the standard rooms were small. There was a cabinet under the TV that I think is unnecessary, it would have been better to have had room to move. They have showercaps, dental kits and cotton pads, so that's a plus. The hotel is clean and the decor is nice. It's located in a quiet street but not the middle of nowhere. They may be a tad understaffed and eating there is a bit of a bother. You get a free bottle of water each day and there's tea too. Be warned! This property does not serve alcohol. 

I came in to case the joint as you would say in a spy movie. I was not lodging so decided to check the restaurant out. My first attraction to eat at a place are the seats. If they are appealing, I'll stay. I stayed and enjoyed a nicely done, non clumpy, well garnished fried rice with grilled chicken. Surprisingly I finished a piece of chicken that was not spiced with chili, now that was an exquisitely prepared chicken. The location is perfect and the establishment is almost a hideout; ideal for people who love quality and serenity. I will be back.
