Very nice place near the center and the sea. Nice, knowledgeable owner and ambassador of his place. Smiling staff:) Noisy place though: petriding motorcycle and shiny patio in the window of the room we had.

It's a beautiful patio with hammocks.

The only positive thing is the price, and you actually have it for your money, which means not much. First of all, there are people who live there and you feel more at home than in a hotel. The room we had, the sixth, was rotten, it's in a backyard that serves as laundry and laundry, in the room, a bed and a cupboard, that's all, no table, no chair, nothing to put your stuff, in the bathroom, the door doesn't close, the sink is ready to fall through.

Very, very, very basic!

Good quiet location in town but still close enough to everything. Room and bathroom was big and comfortable. Staff didn’t show us anything in hostel eg kitchen which would have been nice, we found it ourselves day 2. Our room was at the front and we did have some street noise.

Hostel in the center of San Juan del sur, the rooms are clean but open all day so beware of business... nice little hammock corner very nice staff very nice wifi works well, shower is cold I found the sleeping beds quite comfortable, fan for everyone $8 a night and free coffee in the morning

Well located

We stayed here for two nights and it was enjoyable. The rooms were clean and cheap. The owners were friendly and welcoming. The hostel is also situated in a convenient location, only a short walk from many restaurants.

Convenient

This place is a bit hidden but that's good! I stayed in a dorm, felt very secure plus their is super fast internet! It's a little hidden but that's Bonn. I stayed in dormitories, felt very secure when the internet was very fast!

Bonito y bien precio, nice and good price, beautiful and Bonn price

We were very disappointed. This place was not good enough, the rooms were very basic, no hot water and not really clean. Also, no one at the hostel speaks English.
I think that in this price you can find better places in San Juan. Although there was a computer and we had our own private room, we didn't enjoy our time here.

Not so good

We spent almost a week in this hostel in downtown San Juan del Sur, just sitting away to have some peace in the evening. A common kitchen is provided and coffee is free all morning, there is also a refrigerator available, however everyone puts his things in the same refrigerator.

Hostel at a very good price!!

The managers of this hostel made us feel more than welcome. The location is excellent, too. It is only a block or so east of the bus stop and about 5 blocks east of the beach. An added advantage is that the managers Orlando and Gabriela speak English and are more than happy to help you acclimate to the area.
I have only one complaint and that is the TV in the lounge area. Apparently it is first come, first served and I didn't always enjoy whatever was on. Perhaps a second TV?
They have a small kitchenette so you can make your own food. San Juan del Sur is a tourist destination and some of the restaurants are a bit pricey so cooking your own food will save you money. Shopping downtown is a blast, which is another benefit.
Enjoy yourself in SJdS and make sure you say "hola" to the managers of Suenos del Mar for me.

Very Welcoming

Nice hostel, Comfy double bed. Not much privacy within the room as the bathroom door didn't slide properly. I'm usually not that much bothered by the noise, but if there are people chilling or chatting outside, you'll pretty much hear anything going on out there. There's a nice kitchen you can use and the staff is very nice and useful and gives you good advice on where to eat or what to do in San Juan del Sur.
