Nice little hotel close to the centre of town. Rooms small but OK. A/C.
However the design does make any noise reverberate.
We were in room 1 which is next to the communal area and were disturbed three times by guests and staff in the kitchen area. 12.30, 2.30 and 4am to be precise.
If noise disturbs you don’t stay here.

The location and staff are amazing! The rooms are small but clean and well organized to maximize space. There is also tonnes of common space in the property which is safe, secure, and comfortable! The breakfast is hands down the best we have had in Nica so far, and made to order, and it is included!! Highly Recommend as best bang for buck in Leon!

Amazing value!

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff.
There is a pool by the entrance. Location is great, right by the central park and close to the market. 
Breakfast cost $3. Wifi works in thr room. No hair dryer. 
There is a wonderful cat, owned by the hotel staff.

Great

We booked 3 rooms for the 5 of us.  We actually could have all stayed in the 1 room as they all had 3 beds, but the price was great so we all had our own rooms.  They were very clean, the air con worked great as did the fans.  While the bathroom was a little small ( your knees touch the wall while on the toilet)  everything was clean and the shower was great--no hot water but it was certainly not cold either.  The pool area was awesome and the guys even played a few rounds of pool on the table provided.  Many of the guests including ourselves made great use of the common area. The staff were friendly and very accommodating, and breakfast was wonderful.

The hotel looks beautiful on the outside, the common areas are diverse and beautiful, but in the rooms it needs improvement, it feels very small and uncomfortable, many mirrors give it the feeling of a motel rather, otherwise the service was good.

This was a very noisy hotel, with children in the pool, running around screaming, which echoed around the courtyards. Noisy other guests. The shower was awful, the shower head needed descaling.  The room itself was like a prison cell.

We stayed here as part of an Intrepid group tour, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is situated on a square with a large church and little food and drinks stalls, and has a great atmosphere.  It is near a food market, and we went to have a look and bought the most delicious freshly pressed fruit juice – highly recommended.  I’ve read some of the other reviews, some of which say that the hotel isn’t in the centre – to us this wasn’t a problem at all – the streets are all so interesting and full of atmosphere that we were really happy to make the short walk to see the rest of Leon – lots of people smiling and sitting outside buildings – Leon is a really lovely place to visit. Our room was great – plenty of space to move around, well decorated, and brilliant A/C – the beds were comfortable, and we slept really well.  There is a pool, and although it is small, it was very welcome, as the weather was very hot. Make sure you visit lovely Leon, and I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

An excellent small hotel, with great atmosphere

A nice infrastructure, but lacking proper maintenance. Attention of reception staff very kind. You should look for a solution for parking as the guest has to leave the car a few blocks away which limits the immediate availability of mobility and puts the guest's safety at risk if it arrives late at night. Breakfast stops serving very early so if you want to sleep beyond 9am you should look for another alternative to breakfast. My room had no curtains so the sun was entering too strongly. Finally the shower barely functioned.

Good accommodation, friendly attention.

I stayed here for one night as part of an Intrepid tour across Central America. It was good one of the nicest I stayed in in the region. It looks tiny from the outside but it extends out the back and includes a swimming pool and patio area, as well as an upstairs terrace. The rooms were comfortable and it’s a ten minute walk from the town centre so it’s a little bit away from all the action.

Quiet oasis in a charming city

The hotel is conveniently located in the centre- within easy walking distance of the main square. The rooms are fresh and "arty" as is the hotel itself. there is a pol and on site coffee. Breakfast can be arranged to order. The service was excellent in general but there was a small hiccup with a missing and reappearing bag. This all got sorted but was a reminder to take care as usual!
