This hotel is a bit special because it is made up of several houses. There are rooms and apartments with a kitchen. The rooms are clean. There are no fences with windows typical of the Netherlands. Breakfast is a buffet at will for 10 euros per person. The place where the hotel is located is quiet and just a few steps from the beach and the dunes of Scheveningen. The price is right. The owner is very friendly and efficient. A little plus two free parking spaces allow you to park in peace.

Well located

2xDZ for 4 days.Food is ok, rooms are clean and quite large, good wlan.You should be careful, however, when you leave, to pay as indicated, they charged us only 100€ more, thankfully we noticed!It may be a coincidence, but it was very strange.If you are travelling with a dog, you should indicate beforehand that you do not want to go to the second floor!Stairs are very steep, our dog is not high, had to be carried and it is not a small and light dog!

For a short vacation as far as I'm concerned...

We went to a friend's house in Scheveningen and we booked a three-bedroom room there. First you have to say that Scheveningen is not that cheap and the price of the hotel was okay. The location is very good, almost directly opposite the beach promenade. There is an extra hotel parking space where you can park. The staff were super friendly and also spoke German. The rooms were okay, it means everything was clean, no question.

It was all right.

We were at the hotel for the second time. It was my birthday. Like the first time, we (also Miss Elly) would be very friendly. Our room as the last time is all right! The hotel is close to the beach and parking is free!!We will definitely be back! On the evening of my birthday. I had a nice surprise on the bed.! The hospitality of the host is so great!! Thank you and see you soon!

Spontaneous decision!! We booked by phone all of a sudden and were totally surprised! Great big room with balcony! The hosts were very kind and friendly. Everything was very clean! From the outside it doesn't look so nice, but we'll be back! The pancakes at breakfast were just great. We really liked you. Thank you for your kindness!

The weekend

We spent three nights with our dog at the Duinsicht Hotel and were thrilled. The check-in was already very friendly and almost family friendly. The parking space included in the room price is absolutely worth gold in this location, as the surrounding parking lots are extremely expensive! The choice for breakfast was abundant and a family atmosphere was also created here.

A great stay.

Very well located right next to the tram stop so one could easily move around The Hague, it has no sea view, but is a block away.The reception is very friendly, rents a room and it was actually an apartment on the second floor with a very steep staircase that made it hard for us to pick up the bags.The breakfast was good and the room was wide.

Nice hotel in The Hague. Few meters from the beach. Very friendly reception and very good price for the location . It have apartments and single rooms provided with convenient kitchen.

Hotel Duinzicht

Lots of great things about this hotel: it's near the beach; there is free parking; the rooms are the price of hotel rooms but you actually get a small studio apartment including basic cooking facilities.  The hotel is several houses joined together so has several separate front doors.   Our room had a sofa, small table, small kitchen area and the bed in an alcove, then separate bathroom.  The facilities are budget style, but all working and fine.  The bed was small and a bit soft for me, but I slept fine.  The shower was lovely.  The curtains were very thin hence it was the light that woke us up.  Breakfast is great, with some limited cooked options available, plus all the usual cereals, breads and meats.  No decaff coffee - that was a theme of our stay in Holland - obviously offends their coffee-excellence culture!  The wifi worked well.  We had BBC TV. The welcome here was very friendly, and this is a recommended hotel if you are on a budget.

Spacious studios at a budget price

The hotel is located two minutes from the beach and a few meters from the headquarters of tram lines 1 and 9, which lead directly to the centre. The room we were given (number 9) is comfortable and spacious, with a well-equipped cooking corner and a balcony. WiFi, breakfast and parking are included (this last thing is not to be underestimated because parking in the Netherlands costs a head-on). Breakfast itself is in the average, much more salty than sweet stuff, but in the end being included is more than fine. They include animals with an extra fee of only 5 euros, so we brought our cat who even made a spin climbing on the wall:) Special note to the owner, a very kind and always accidental lady, who made us feel really welcome to return to this area of the hotel. If we should not return to the hotel, we should really feel in doubt!
