I'm sorry, but it's this typical Dutch coastal thing: it's just often too expensive for what's being offered. We travel very often and we like to go to Holland. I love the country, the people, the sea, the coast, and I find it a thousand times nicer there than on the German coast. It is. But people, the price often doesn't go up. Yes, short beach road, fully furnished, wireless, TV, two toilets/shows (we were in apartment 59) and at first glance, nice. But everything in something simple, thin-walled construction, lots of beds to change, douches to be soft/cold... keep a little overpriced. The reception, breakfast we didn't have, ok, real. The parks were nice.

A little too expensive.

The second hotel in the side street is somewhat smoky and worthy of renovation. The carpet floor in the room and also in the hotel entrance/staircase was already quite worn down. Also the sanitary facilities. The tap of the tiny pool in the toilet was completely loose and unusable. The water was also flowing only moderately. Hardly hooks to hang the towels. The bed was not freshly washed and the carpet floor was also not properly or not sucked. Breakfast was I.O. In sum I would not rebook the hotel in its current condition.

That's how it goes.

Be very careful when booking a room in this hotel as it has two locations, one the main one where the restaurant and the beautiful hotel are located and then a house a mile or so away, where they have the simplest rooms and I think some apartment, I reserve an individual room and they kept it in this house, and upstairs on the third floor with very narrow and steep stairs.

Appearances are deceiving.

The first positive thing: the hotel is only about 200m from the beach. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. But in our Deluxe double room it was not possible to sleep: in Parterre, located directly on a busy street, with a tram stop in front of the window and also the drink machine in the hall next door.😥 Also the earplugs provided did not help. Moreover, the room was so narrow that you could only walk to the bed on one side. Room service changed the towels but did not make the bed. But booking via Booking.com without cancellation 169€ for Deluxe double room / 2 nights At the entrance there were 81 extra pieces for breakfast and parking (m) on the way.

Well, that's the way it goes.

A very nice hotel close to the beach,  nice rooms very complete, friendly people, HD tv , good cleans beds, clean room and a fantastic breakfast. The hotel offers a good parking in consensus.

Theater and sea weekend

The worst place I have ever been. There were blood stains on the blanket. I stayed in the annex building, the Bella Vista 2, and there was nobody in the house, so I could not have my blankets changed. The bathroom has the size of a box of cigarettes.

A pretty bloody night 

A few meters from the beach, right by the tram, and so the rooms are noisy up ahead. We had a double de luxe room (210) in the main house to the yard. Very spacious and quiet. Clean, something came in years, but not shabby. Every day new towels, decent breakfast. Parking was perfect and necessary. The staff is always very nice.

Great location and very friendly staff

I had an EZ with no breakfast on the first floor, the price in the second house is still acceptable for Scheveningen. Unfortunately the facility is very unkind and poorly maintained. The wet area is very narrow but clean. The location is central and not too noisy. The real negative was, however, that there were no parking tickets left from the hotel so you had to rely on outside car parks.

House 2 next to the casino

We were in Hotel 1 - Room No. 2; the room is on the ground floor, right on the corner. We paid 69€ plus a courtesy for 2 people without breakfast. Breakfast would have cost 9.50€ per person. Although the hotel does not make the best impression from the outside and is located on a well-traveled road including tram, we did not notice the traffic. Neither the cars nor the tram disturbed sleeping! The small living room is very nice because it offers a wide window. The beds were high, soft and very comfortable. This was a dream for us:) The bathroom was very small but absolutely sufficient. Very large shower, even a phone is convenient. The location is very convenient: 5 tickets to the city or a ticket to the park. The hotel can be rented for a short walk, but with parking and parking, we can only pay for a short walk to the hotel.

Positively surprised! 😊

Booked a cheap night in Scheveningen, just to have a night of sleep close to the venue where I had to work. Had a hard time to find a parking space close by. Room was right at the corner of the street and ... the tram was right in front (and kept riding for some time). It gave me the impression it drove through my room. Towels weren't smelling quite fresh. Bed very high. Wifi was rather slow. (Limited) Breakfast was served, no buffet.
