Lovely guesthouse, with very friendly and accommodating staff. I had a very big room with strong wifi so I could do a webinar from there comfortably. The breakfast is good and the bed lined was high quality. The place is in a nice town square which is very pretty, and you really get the personal and friendly touch when staying there. I can’t imagine there’s better if you’re staying in the area. 

I liked the chocolate sprinkles on toast and the manager gave me some to take with me, which was really kind!

Fabulous 4 nights at this super friendly and very personal hotel.all the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to please.lovely room with very comfy bed and pillow.great shower.breakfast was amazing. highly recommend and we will certainly return.

Fabulous very friendly hotel in centre of the village.

A lovely bijou hotel in the centre of Noordwijkerhout.
My wife and I stayed for 6 days, and nothing was too much trouble for the brilliant staff.
Breakfast was as good, if not better, than most of the 5* hotels we have stayed in.
We were asked if we had any special requests for breakfast, and, sure enough, next day, we had croissants and liverwurst supplied. An indication of the restaurant's popularity is, every night, even Tuesday, the dining room was catering to 20 or 30 customers.
Our room was spacious, warm and very comfortable. The bathroom was big, and well lit. (Very important for we, wet shaving men!)
Plenty of storage space and most comfortable beds.
We would thoroughly recommend Het Wapen van Noordwijkerhout for it's location, and the personal service supplied.

Wonderful

We were four for a week in Wapen van Noordwijkerhout. Very clean, beautiful rooms, with a fairly modern bathroom and an extremely nice, motivated team. Nice and professional. We also ate several times in the restaurant. Excellent cuisine at a reasonable price. Breakfast a delight of the finest! Therefore a very clear recommendation for anyone who wants to vacation in Noordwijkerhout.

The perfect accommodation and restaurant

Lovely room, though a little cold, the radiator is placed under the window and the heat seemed to go right out. Nice big bathroom and shower.
Charming staff and the breakfast was excellent, cooked breakfast is available too. Marvellous coffee.
My only real criticism would be the lack of noise insulation. The bell, from the church on the square, was not a problem but the hotel itself was pretty noisy, both late at night and then again in the early morning.

Charming hotel.

The location of the hotel is actually very good, but unfortunately it is right across the street from a church whose bells ring every half an hour at night, which is disturbing. The beds are very good, the rooms are fine. The size of the room and the bathroom are good. The breakfast is very plentiful and good. One of the shortcomings is the very steep stairs, which may become a problem for some. The price-performance ratio is good.

Good hotel for a day

Top quality tasty food. We stayed in the hotel and the breakfast was so good we guessed the restaurant would be good also. It certainly didn't disappoint . The restaurant decor is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The staff were also extremely friendly. 

Real Food !

This small hotel is located on the first floor of the restaurant of the same name. The room was not huge but suitable for a night's sleep. The bathroom was very livable. The cleanliness of both the room and the bathroom was very good. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice between sweet and salty. Free Wi-Fi throughout the facility.

Have a good rest.

Very friendly service!! Large clean rooms under a roof with a good bed. Fast and stable Wi-Fi. Parking is about 200 m away, but for free. Lovely covered breakfast table (no buffet). The rooms on the sidewalk are very noisy, in the village center there is always something going on in the summer, and the smoke corners are also under the windows.

Friendly village hotel

I absolutely loved this hotel. The hotel reflects the feel of the village - it is quaint and cozy. Our room was rather spacious and our private bath was larger than the one we had in Amsterdam. The absolute only reason for "very good" rather than "excellent" rating is because the room didn't have air conditioning (my husband and I are cold sleepers) and the stairways are rather narrow so it was a little difficult dealing with our larger luggage pieces. Finally, the beds were a lower and on the short side (I realize this is not uncommon in Europe) but my husband is 6"4 and his feet hung off the bottom (which was actually super funny) because the bed was too small for him. 

The staff at the restaurant was amazing. I have Celiac Disease and require a specific diet or I will be severely ill. The staff was notified, and for breakfast had blocked off a specific area at our table just for gluten free items so they would not get cross-contaminated. That was a level of detail in service that I have rarely experienced anywhere, let alone in a quiet village. I was very grateful for the care they took to keep me safe.
