We stayed here for four nights in August, we took the single room with a cooking corner inside the room, a rich breakfast prepared and delivered to the room at the requested time, outside, a lovely terrace overlooking a canal and plenty of nature, very available owners, a quiet, convenient location to get to the main attractions in Northern Holland, car parking available.

Advised!

Well, I'd start with the fact that the room is spacious and functional, at the management level, the manager makes the minimum necessary message, breakfast that is brought directly to the room so you can consume it, from the room you look out onto a huge lawn where horses are burning... Don't expect anything more.

Two days.

We stayed there for 1 night and were very happy with the comfort and service which owners were able to provide, at a very reasonable cost. The place is only 45 min to 1 hour drive from Schiphol airport, so if you rent a car getting there will be easy and the drive is a pleasant one as well. The B&B is located on a quiet street and looks no different from other houses, also there is no sign (or at least we did not see one), so to find it you will need to look for the street number. It is about 100 meters from the intersection, so if you drive too far it means you missed it. We came at night and were a little confused, but the hostess came out and greeted us, and showed where to park. You enter through a shared kitchen with kettle, coffee machine and a fridge. In your room you will find complementary bottled water, which is very nice compared to other places in Europe which will gladly charge you arm and leg for water. Beds are not wide, but quite long, so tall people will have no problem sleeping there. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and a sink, all spotless and operational. Wi-Fi was also operational and quite fast, due to low number of users I assume. There is a narrow canal behind the building with some wildlife in it which can be observed though a sliding glass door, and a stable with horses on the other side of the canal. Altogether it creates a felling of tranquillity which gets you relaxed especially if you had a busy day. In the morning a generous breakfast is served right in your room: eggs, cheese, salami, several kinds of bread, juice, milk, jam and what not. Overall we liked the place very much and would certainly come back if the opportunity presents itself. The best part is that hosts are very welcoming, they do not turn their B&B in a money-making machine, rather they strive to make their guests fell welcome and enjoy their stay. Easily 5 out of 5!!!

What a wonderful peaceful place that is!

We had the room with two beds and access to the pantry, where we had to make our own tea and coffee. Good beds. A lovely bathroom, but unfortunately without heating. Small, but enough, breakfast. Very friendly landlady, who can speak dutch and german. Cosy with a small channel outside the terrace door and horses on the other side of the channel. Sufficient parking space.

Good accommodation for a reasonable price

B&B Dirosa used to be a tulip packing factory. It has very large rooms, right on the canal, with excellent WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen.The breakfast is good, but the host does not feel comfortable in English which made the experience a bit less perfect for us.
